I just realized that Canelo Alvarez can't put a dent on Cotto when they fought each other but recently every opponent of Canelo was dropping like flies. Is Cotto actually a monster back in the day like GGG?
The way he lost (to the best) was by slim margins aka very competitive fights: Mayweather, Canelo, Pacquiao. And then there were some nights where styles make fights and he picked up an L. There may have been a night he didn't show up, Sadam Ali, but he sure as heck gets respect for the cinderblock s man one and two! In fact Margarito 2 was his most significant win.
Canelo couldn’t put a dent in Lara a year earlier either. But Cotto was very strong at the time having caught his second career wind.
I thought Lara is more of a defensive genius side. It's hard to hit guys like that consistently to really make a dent.
The best version of Cotto was 07-10, the one Manny fought and destroyed.
Canelo I’d say hit his prime AFTER the Cotto fight.
But yeah, Cotto gave him good fight even for being way late his prime.
A drained fighter was his best condition lol, you boys are so delusional, Manny refused to fight any version of Cotto without a CW, even after beating him at a CW he refused to not fight him again without another CW,
Why do Manny fans ALWAYS leave out the most important parts that directly affect the outcome of the fight?
