I want to see it. Always a great fight, no reason not to happen.
Manny wins-No 6th fight. He would be 4-1 in the series, I don't like to refer to the first as a draw because of the admitted mathematical mistake on the judges's card. Makes no sense to me. Manny won 1 through 3.
Juan wins again-Manny should retire after a farewell fight or two. If he does not retire, well then if they wanna do it again, they can do it again. Juan would be 2-3 in the series. He might want to even it up.
Nah mayweather should keep it ethical and fight a champion in Porter!!!!!
Beat as many champs as you can, Maidana doesnt deserve a shot yet. let him fight Thurman and if he beats Thurman than he can fight FMJ in May,
Has Porter allready signed to fight Brooks?
Dosent deserve a shot? Lol
Sugar Ray Robinson who most call the GOAT lost 19 times most of those losses coming after his prime.....Joe Louis mostly labeled a top 10 ATG had most of his losses past prime..so why does it hurt Modern fighters??
Cuz people are idiots. Roy's one of the best ever, because of what he did in his prime.
Let's get one thing straight. In Pacman/Marquez 4 it was the 1st time in the series where Marquez gave all Pacman fans what they asked for. He didn't box, he stood in front of Pacman and traded. That's what the fvck happened. He traded with Pacman and steered him into one of the single, most deadly right hands ever landed.
"Marquez was taking a beating", does not apply. You begged for someone to stand and trade. Marquez did just that and the result was the only conclusive victory of the entire 4 fight series. Deal with
He was taking a beating. Not that it changes anything. Just shows how evenly matched and competitive they are. Marquez is not the first fighter to come back from a beating to score an impressive ko win.
FREDDIE ROACH MAKES ACCUSATIONS ABOUT "SHADY" ALEX ARIZA; QUESTIONS MYSTERY DRINK GIVEN TO PACQUIAO
"I know he has a new strength coach and I don't get along with the guy, and one of the reasons why he doesn't work for me anymore is because I think he's a little shady, you know. He used to give Manny a drink every day before we worked out and I asked him, 'What's in that drink,' and he would never tell me. And I said, 'I need to know what's in that drink because, you know, you're giving it to my fighter and if something goes wrong, I'm gonna get the blame.' In my opinion, he's a little shady, so he's with that camp now and it doesn't surprise me that happened," stated world-class trainer Freddie Roach, who made explosive accussations about world-class Strength & Conditioning Coach Alex Ariza when recently asked about his opinion regarding the failed drug test of Brandon Rios following his unanimous decision loss to Manny Pacquiao. According to Roach, he wasn't surprised when he heard the news because, evidently, he also questioned some of the things Ariza did with his star pupil, 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, over the course of the 4-plus years they worked together.
Let's be real here. This was said after Ariza kicked Roach in the chest. Now Roach is bad-mouthing him. He had nothing like this to say before so don't take it as gospel. Manny drank Jack-3d before his workouts. pretty sure its all legal. I think there are videos of Ariza talking about it and mixing it for Manny.
Also, to say Ariza "learned his craft" from memo is absurd, and very uneducated. The dudes apparently worked together at some point. Ariza is a college educated sports trainer. That's where he "learned his craft" take your agendas elsewhere.
Juan is showing signs of drug abuse. Clear as day. Him being on something has nothing to do with Manny being on something. Nothing at all.
Ariza himself WHILE WORKING WITH MANNY SAID MANNY DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS GIVING HIM...
So what? And I never heard him say this. I'd like to see it if he in fact did say that.
Roach has so whats ur point
How many fighters out of mayweather gym have been RECENTLY busted?
That nonsense can go both ways. Talking about fighter A's drug use or lack of drug use, or even suspicion when speculating on fighter B 's possible drug use is just that, nonsense. Just being a bitter fanboy. The signs are in your face and you wanna talk about pacquiao and roach.
Nah, not really. There were a few combos he threw later in the fight that were scary fast. I just think chino made him think twice before throwing too often. Made him look almost unwilling to punch at times. When he did unload he looked great.
But he wasn't too small for Margarito?
Marg was a 147lber for most of his career. Only fought at 54 a handful of times. Nelo is outgrowing 54. See the difference?
I'm seeing a lot of people saying that "you can hear Garcia telling Maidana to be dirty", I just don't get it. Mayweather's corner was telling him the exact same thing, but who's crying about that? I don't have time to find the specific point where his corner says "be dirty" but I watched the fight last night and it was clearly said. People need to relax. It's boxing, not a tickling contest.
The blue ones were not approved by the commission correct? The ones they showed on this episode with no padding?
Do you really think these gloves had "no padding?" Everlast would ship gloves with "no padding"?.That's just being said to exaggerate the issue. To say "insufficient padding" is one thing, but to say "no padding", well then you just sound as dumb as Ellerbe.
