What makes people like Carl Froch?

You know, it shouldn't have surprised me, but it really did, when everyone on NSB jumped on the "Froch will duck the Groves rematch" train pretty much the moment the fight ended. I really don't understand why people thought that. This is Carl f*cking Froch. He doesn't duck, and he sure as hell wasn't going to duck the biggest fight available for him. It's like everyone forgot who he was because of one bad fight.

Entertaining to watch. Entertaining to listen to. Will take on all fighters. Smoking hot girlfriend. Froch is the man.

Well... When a mommy and a daddy get together and the daddy puts his "car" in the mommy "garage" sometimes you end up with people like Carl Froch. Other then that explanation, I have no idea....

Froch is a truly cool, down to Earth guy. He treats the fans respectfully and backs up virtually every thing he's ever said with his fists.

I don't like Froch that much but one of my favorite fights of 2008 was Pascal vs Froch, and one of my faves of 2010 was Kessler vs Froch. He also put that beat down on Bute.

I love that you can't tell the guy sh*t. In his world, he is fastest, the slickest, the strongest, the smartest, better looking, the more noble guy...maybe he is none of those things, but that mentality.. and confidence in his ability he carries allows him level the playing field even if he seems outgunned. 'I don't know how he is does it' is a thought I'm usually left with after his fights

I get that he takes on all comers and has done well in the boxing world which is good for the sport and himself. I've seen a lot of his interviews and all that comes across is this smug as hell arrogant man who thinks he's the ***** in whichever room he steps in. Not only that but he claims to not like Ali because of the rope a dope against Foreman but fails to recognise Ali's fighting style before the 3 year ban. WAR UGLY KID Is this post for real? Froch will fight ayone and has balls. He makes exciting fights, has a huge following for a reason, and can flat out scrap. Top 10 p4p fighter.

Carl is quite simply the man. He is the ultimate case of a modern day warrior who will go to war with anyone and walk through anything to win. He's not as skilled as other fighters, but the skill he does have is elevated greatly by his chin, heart and will. He is the definition of what boxers should be in terms of fighting the best, doesn't matter the location or the opponent, he'll do it if it's what people want to see. As for his personality, he's a no nonsense guy who believes in himself and tells it like it is... I find him one of the most likeable guys in the sport.

Used to really annoy me. Still is annoying but I am ok with him now. I must have had him losing so many of the fights he went on to win. One of the biggest overachievers I can think of in recent times.

What I love about Froch the most is his mentality. The guy is a bully. He will take your soul in there if you aren't up for it or if you're mentally weak.

He's got big nuts. He fights well and with malicious intent. Granted he's kind of a wanker, but he's got a hot girlfriend. What's not to like?
