bowe lewis the point is that Bowe was going to fight Lewis and had accepted the fight. it was Lewis who lost to McCall. Bowe was ready to challenge for the WBC title, so if he was so afraid of Lewis that someone her thinks, he would never have signed the fight. :usa:

Wy do people say that bowe was afraid of Lewis. They were suppose to fight in March 1995, but the fight as canselled since Lewis lost the title to McCall. Because previous to that, after that post-fight ringside altercation, Riddick Bowe threw his belt away, and said something about Lewis being a garbage man if he wanted the belt. It was the least clever way to duck someone that I've ever seen.

Donald used to be a good boxer. I thought after Bowe did this to Donald, Donald was scared of Bowe and didn't fight Bowe like he could fight, he held back a lot. Donald was the first to expose J.Williams. He also embarrassed Evander Holyfield I've heard. Quick and slick was the name of his game. And yeah, I'd be intimidated as **** if Riddick Bowe tried to shatter my skull bare fisted at a press conference. Maybe that's why Bowe had such an easy time with him...

Bowe is one of my favourite Heavyweights, very underrated and always exciting to watch, Bowe came to the ring with one intention to get you out of there and i love watching fighters with that mentality. Bowe is/was a character, he was a funny guy and a great talker its a shame he did not live up to his talent.

Riddick Bowe is so underrated. A chin like granite and two wins over Evander, but he is barely mentioned among the likes of Tyson, Lewis, and Klitschko on this site. Prime Riddick Bowe would destroy any heavyweight out there at the moment. Just a shame he didn't fight Lewis or Tyson back in the day. Those would have been some great fights. a granite chin? are you serious? he avoided power punchers like the plague. hell,,,golota was probably the biggest puncher he faced and even golota isnt that big a puncher and would have stopped bowe if he wasnt such a headcase. lewis and even both klits would have knocked any version of bowe out. he had no defense and feasted on smaller guys his entire career besides the big bum jorge ( the human heavy bag) gonzalez

too bad Bowe couldn't intiminate someone his size. Hes a punk for doing what he did there. Thats a classes coward, and also the fact that he ducked Lewis shows how much of a coward he was. He didn't want to fight a real champ. Lewis kept calling him out, and even after all that he threw his belt away just so he could avoid Lewis. What a classes coward he was. Pick on the smaller guys like Evander to make your legacy and duck a real champ like Lewis. Lewis would have knocked his ass out. If golota's Jab could disrupted Bowe, Lewis Jab most certainly would have Bowe crying like Oliver Mcall and he would eventually get knocked out, or do a "no mas".

Is it me or has Bowe always sounded like that? I saw him on Fresh Prince of Bel Air and he sounded just the same as he does now.

Donald's chin seemed pretty damn good right there. Two hard punches bare fisted, square on his jaw. Sounded pretty vicious too. it didnt look quite so good when big vit was bouncing him off the canvas with single right hands. then again,,,I believe that was the only time donald was even dropped in his career so overall he has always had a good set of whiskers

Donald is much more impressive in that clip, taking the soft hook with his strong neck and rolling with the follow-up right to remain unaffected.
