Meh. I wasn't emotional about it at all. I didn't want to even see these two fight again.
If it was all GGG strategy to give away 75% of the fight until he finally did something, that's his prerogative but it wasn't entertaining.
I think it was more of a strategy because he knows he's old and shot to save some energy for the later rds but it was way too late at that point. I don't care what the judges scored it, it wasn't close.
I don't think Benavidez beats him.
I don't think there is anything special about Benavidez, Charlo, Andrade.
I think Beterbiev can take him down though.

secondly I agree boxing is crap right now. This year has been terrible, especially the 2nd half. I have no interest in anything the rest of the year.
They were outraged over GGG vs. Rolls and Vanes. They constantly shyt all over Crawford and his resume, insist Loma only fights smaller opponents and bums. Where is the outrage over a guy coming off a loss at 154, moving up in weight with only 7 KOs to his record?

I like watching Crawford but he has fought absolutely nobody! Top Rank has a bunch of junk! Thurman has already ran through some of the top guys. Spence Jr's One win against Brook is better than any win Crawford has.

Thurman fan here but also a Spence fan. I want this fight to happen and Thurman does seem to be ducking.
I can't quite call him a ducker yet though. Spence hadn't earned this fight until after he beat Brook and Thurman has fought since. Fight needs to happen in 2019 at some point.
I wouod love to see Thurman vs Porter again. That was a really close fight that could of went either way and Porter deserves the rematch.

I wagered on GGG ending it by rd #9. I'm all as big of a GGG fan as it gets but I would like to see something exciting happen. I think GGG hurts Marty bad though.
