The bolded is an incredibly stupid statement, but I'm glad that this ends our conversation.
Of course he'd fight her like it was a boxing match, you delusional twat. It's the only way he knows how to fight.
He's been fighting like a boxer for 34 years (since he was 3), but all of a sudden he's just going to enter the cage and know how to do MMA?
:lol1:
Floyd isn't a ****ing idiot..... You are saying he is going to initiate a clinch or fight at the same distance fully knowing here only chance is to take him down?
You are calling me a delusional twat. Get real. You have no clue what you are talking about. The only way she would ever touch him is her face embracing his fists as he runs around and pot shots, and it wouldn't last long.
He would make her foot speed look like a fat 12 year old boy chasing a wind blown dollar.
Bringer it's because 99% of these kids never fought.
MMA isn't tough? LOL they should come to the gym I frequent to train these animals. Of course Floyd would have a punchers chance but if you heard what she said, she wouldn't stand with him.
If She gets a hold of Floyd, fight is over. Done, finished, he has ZERO chance.
I told this story before, I grappled with a 150lb ju-jitsu brazilian dude and I lasted about 2 1/2 minutes. My strength is the only thing that kept me from getting tapped out, but after I gassed, it was over.
In a real street fight with no rules, MA is much more effective than boxing. It's not even close.
That's the point. She won't.
No one said MMA isn't tough.
She's 100% right, if you listen to what she said, it's true. She would crawl down to him and grab him by the leg and bring him down.
Once that happens, the fight is over. It's not like Mayweather is 200lbs, the man is 150lbs soaken wet.
A boxer cannot beat an MMA fighter in an MMA fight.
That's not true at all. You have options in MMA. Its not as tough as boxing for that reason. All it takes is one punch to land against a very sub par striker. Which there are a lot of. I'm not saying it's likely, but very plausible many boxers do well in MMA, especially with training. There is nothing that says a boxer can't train MMA for the same amount of time some of the guys in there have and do well.
Ronda is too slow to ever catch Floyd. He would pot shot the **** out of her, and probably knock her out with the first clean straight that land.
LOL, with your size and athleticism alone... This shows how ignorant and how disconnected you are to the realities of fighting. Get real tough guy.
Rousey is not a wannabe, she is a professional fighter. She masters the ground game. She would break all of your limbs one after the other and you would just lay there helplessly the whole time.
Most people don't have training. Most people are lazy fat, unathletic dimwits who have a false sense of their basic training. Going to a gym and training doesn't make you good at something, doesn't make you an athlete. People have shot hoops all their lives and still can't make a shot for ****.
I know this because I don't train, I'm a division 1 athlete, and I have been in enough fights.
He is right though...
Anybody with basic knowledge on how to break someone's limb could beat Mayweather in a MMA fight assuming Mayweather doesn't learn the art until then.
Get real. She would break your arm in half in less than 30 seconds.
Lol, another guy with a false sense of basic training.
Sorry, but I would smash the average MMA wannabe with my size and athleticism alone.
So would Mayweather, to an even bigger degree.
This is why I hate the UFC and it's fans.
In fact, 3-6 months of BJJ and I'd wager everyone in this thread could take out Floyd Mayweather, in a ring, on a mat, or in an alley. And then take his million dollar case.
Neither does being a division 1 athlete or a keyboard warrior.
Your point is?
My point is athletic superiority gos a long ways. I'm not saying I can kick everyones ass. A lot of people out there would probably destroy me, and destroy me with ease. But the average guy would do nothing to me with or without 6 months of training. I would rag doll them with little effort.
People shoot hoops everyday and still can't make most shots. Thousands of high school wrestlers in the US never even make it to state districts after years of training.
Training something doesn't make you good or an athlete. Nor does it make you tough. Some people have it and some don't. I have it because I'm a highly coordinated athlete. The averge guy isn't, and 6 months of training won't change that.
Floyd gets clinched by and himself initiates clinching in fights against boxers all the time. You can't be serious.
And that's just clinching.
She'd shoot for his legs and score a takedown before he even knew what was going on. As a boxer, you have zero defense against that. You can't even punch the person shooting in on you because they shoot so low that there's nothing to hit.
The only defense against a double-leg takedown is a sprawl, which professional boxers have no idea how to execute.
UFC cage is huge, and if you think he would fight as if he were in a boxing match, then I no longer have anything to say to you. She would never get close to him.
Correct, most people don't have training. However, there are several that do and those are the ones we are talking about.
Rousey is a gold medalist and an undefeated accomplished professional fighter. Your point is?
Like I said. Training doesn't make you great at something, nor does it make you an athlete.
I wouldn't be surprised at all, Rousey is a beast and if the fight takes place on her field, there is no doubt she'd make Mayweather scream and beg for mercy.
I also find it comical how those who are making the stereotypical female jokes would easily get their asses beat up by her.
I weigh 225. Not only would she not have a chance, but I would literally have my way with her if I so chose.
Right... fact is, most women CAN'T fight.
However, you can't compare Rousey to the average female. She is a gold medalist and a professional fighter.
I ask you the same thing, let's be real. IF Rousey manages to get Mayweather on the ground which she will, she'd force him to submit. EASILY.
IF the fight was to take place in a boxing ring, it would be a different story. Wouldn't be surprised if Rousey caught Mayweather with something big though.
Dude, stfu. Ronda would never even close the distance let alone take him down.
You sound like a ****ing retard.
You people know that "making Floyd fight" is a bad idea right?
And that it never has worked...ever? Making him fight translate into making him beat your ass quicker and more assertive than he planned to. Nothing more.
Maidana is going to be dominated and embarrassed for 12 humiliating rounds if he sees that many.
120-108 Mayweather if not a late stoppage for Floyd.
When was the last time Mayweather has done any of this you are speaking of. His last legit stoppage was 7 years ago. He doesn't beat anyone up. He pit pats, pot shots his way to a UD.
No. Not at all.
I'm guessing GBP is trying to get it done though.
Floyd probably got word, and started talking about some possibilities, and people are taking that as if the fight is done.
Salido was a pure ***** from the weigh in until the end when he was almost put down. I give Loma a guy in his second pro fight far more credit for loss then I do Salido. I think Loma won the fight also.
With that said, I mentioned this before the fight. Lomanchenko in his first fight showed nothing that suggests he is a superstar or he is above the rest in talent. He looked the same way tonight, and even more average against a tougher opponent. There just appears to be nothing special there at all. I this will get hate, but I just don't see a two time Olympic champ and a 396-1 amateur. Nothing suggests he was that good. Just nothing even close to that.
This just goes to show the extreme difference in the amateur game. I like the new rules. I hope it closes that gap a bit.
Unless you sucked all these guys off TS Im not sure how you know how big they are.
Grower vs Shower is scientific fact. Canel might be a what you see is what you get type of guy, where Maidana might swell into god himself.
So don't disregard your theory yet. Disregard your scientific stance. Start getting in the guys pants so we can get a true study.
You also have to take into fact ball size. Ball size might be a better variable then **** size.
nobody cares.
You want to bet a freshly made ALT with no points, no karma or well, anything? not to mention a rather disturbing username
B1tch made
:boobies::boobies::boobies::boobies:
The **** are you talking about. Chad Dawson was CLEARLY INDISPUTABLY weight drained against Andre Ward and rehydrated 17 POUNDS to 185. He was a damn cruiserweight!!!
You don't know what weight drained means. It's ok. Chad Dawson may have been weakened from losing weight, but he was not weight drained.
Weight drained comes from the days of same day weigh ins when guys didn't have time to put weight back on. You guys hear the phrase, and use it every chance you get, when in fact you don't know what the fuck you are talking about..
Weight drained has nothing to do with putting weight back on. It's when you don't have time to get the weight back on (same day weigh-ins), or your body is so spent that it is unable to properly rehydrate do to extensive dehydration. (De la hoya vs Pac)
I'm impressed with his attitude/mentality.
While I think he won, I'm not impressed with his skill yet. He has shown nothing to any extent that sets him apart from Contender/Paper champ status to being World Class.
People who are weight drained don't gain a lot of weight back, hence the term weight drained. Maybe if Salido would have abided by the rules, he would have been weight drained and clearly would have lost.
You are an idiot, uninformed, and obviously have no right to even make a thread regarding weights, weight classes, or weight draining.
I love these threads - bring on the spurious accusations against Mayweather, give the scumbag a taste of his own medicine.
I'll make a more serious point through a couple of questions.
1. Do you think boxing has a steroid problem?
If you don't, please put your head back in the sand. However, if you do think boxing has a steroid problem, go to question 2 below
2. Is it likely that whilst most other boxers are very probably juicing, that the number 1 fighter, closer to 40 then 30 years of age, who hasn't been an active fighter since he hit his 30s, and generates the most money in the sport, is gonna be clean? When it's pretty obvious that drug testing ain't worth a sh*t, Floyd is gonna allow himself to play it clean whilst his peers and opponents are likely juicing?
Floyd "Moral" Mayweather?
Are you out of your f*cking mind?
I don't think boxers juice as much as you think. It seems like 90% f the time when someone gets busted it's diuretics.
Boxing while corrupt, doesn't seem like a steroid/hgh ridden sport like say Football, UFC, pro wrestling.
Id put it more in line with basketball as far as PED's. Muscle density truly has nothing to do with anything in boxing. Obviously different form of enhancing drugs exist, but the average juicer looks unaturally jacked. Look at some of the guys in the UFC who are known TRT or gt busted for steroids.
And regarding Mayweather, unless all his testing BS is some elaborate scheme to hide his wrong doings (which is very conspiracy theory-esk) I don't think he is juicing.
