Ppl need to chill the f out. Guys second pro fight against a guy who disgraced himself at the weigh in. I'd like to see Loma have around 8 more fights and then challenge whoever is the champ. Kids got amazing potential just a shame his teams plans of fast tracking him have now led him to his first loss and abit of a sticky road now.

Salido was a pure ***** from the weigh in until the end when he was almost put down. I give Loma a guy in his second pro fight far more credit for loss then I do Salido. I think Loma won the fight also. With that said, I mentioned this before the fight. Lomanchenko in his first fight showed nothing that suggests he is a superstar or he is above the rest in talent. He looked the same way tonight, and even more average against a tougher opponent. There just appears to be nothing special there at all. I this will get hate, but I just don't see a two time Olympic champ and a 396-1 amateur. Nothing suggests he was that good. Just nothing even close to that. This just goes to show the extreme difference in the amateur game. I like the new rules. I hope it closes that gap a bit.

I believe Loma will come back strong, but he cannot really be compared to Mikey (as of now). He dropped Salido four times and was dominating the fight up until it ended. And as far as almost stopping him? I think it's fair to say Salido's has shown that it would take much more than what happened in the 12th round to stop him. Congrats to Salido, and I look forward to seeing Lomachenko progress.

Mikey and his corner complained that since he had a broken nose they didn't want to continue. Never once heard that but OK. Salido was starting to get to Mikey and MIkey and his corner knew it. Lomanchenko had a weight disadvantage, a terrible ref, and was getting bombared with body shots from a highly experienced, bigger man. What did he do? Never complained, and in the last two rounds especially the last round he came on like a freight train and almost took Salido out of there. THAT"S why I just became a huge fan of this kid. Supreme conditioing and a great fighter. This kid should have his head held high, he will be a great champion for years to come. He's got a terrific mental makeup and look foward to watchign him fight. Stopped reading after you said Siri was starting to "get to" Mikey!! Loma should've been DQ'd for holding, a lot of Salidos low blows were because he was pushing Salido's head down. Loma's defense is holding, take away his defense and he gets brutalized. Salido didn't even come in shape either, he came in big and bloated, exhausted by the 10th round lol, Salido nearly beat himself.
