Anyone who said Rousey would beat him needs to be ashamed of themselves. Obviously never boxed or considered that perhaps women are fuccing pathetic at fighting compared to even a non-pro man who trains.

Just like when someone asked Jon Jones (who's like 200lb) if he'd fight Mayweather, or when they asked Dos Santos how he would do against Klitschko. 9 times out of 10 when you hear MMA vs boxing comments in the media, it's because a journalist asked a stupid question. Bringer it's because 99% of these kids never fought. MMA isn't tough? LOL they should come to the gym I frequent to train these animals. Of course Floyd would have a punchers chance but if you heard what she said, she wouldn't stand with him. If She gets a hold of Floyd, fight is over. Done, finished, he has ZERO chance. I told this story before, I grappled with a 150lb ju-jitsu brazilian dude and I lasted about 2 1/2 minutes. My strength is the only thing that kept me from getting tapped out, but after I gassed, it was over. In a real street fight with no rules, MA is much more effective than boxing. It's not even close. I agree with most of your post except the last sentence. Well I agree with it when it comes to one on one fighting, but against multiple attackers boxing is more effective.

People so easily buy into hype, wow! Women's MMA at 135 and above is one of the most shallow sports on the planet, even lower weights have more talented women MMA fighters in terms of more participants, and that's shallow also. Rousey is the big fish in a VERY VERY VERY small pond. If you are impressed by that you've been fooled.
