What a joke, how can you justify giving GGG the majority of the rounds when he got his ass kicked 80% of the fight. Golovkin looked like trash too....smh
Only the Brits would blame Wilder for AJs loss. If Wilder lost like this they would be having a field day, hell even his draw with Fury had them talking trash. AJ simply didn't get it done. Now is the time to show respect and humble yourselves......damn.
This is what I'm talking about, you really can't be serious Wilder damn near killed Fury. But this is good Wilder is getting Mayweather level heat which translates to a lot more money for him. Wilder is King of heavyweights.
Stop acting like Ruiz`s win means something for Wilder`s legacy. he is a bum beater, his best win is 40- years old Cuban.
Wilder is barely N. 3. in the world.
Wilder is the clear number 1. Fury couldn't beat him and Joshua falls down the ranks. Ruiz moves up the ranks but just into the top five. Logic puts Wilder on top.
Wilder almost lost his fight against Ortiz and Fury.
Anyway, I just wanted to get in this thread before Robbie Barrett and his hate.
Almost..........but Wilder pulled through with a knockout against Ortiz and closed the gap on Fury. Both fights also made him better. With both rematches coming up Wilder will own this division.
Wilder cannot be no 1 until he beats Fury.
Fury remains No1 right now wether we like it or not
Why? Fury quit years ago and fell out the rankings, he has to work his way back to the top. Floyd Mayweather retired a couple years ago, if he returned today would he be considered the best in his division?
At the end of day he is willing to make the big fights and challenge the best, that counts for a lot. A winner over GGG or Canelo would solidify him, and set him up for big paydays.
I had SD winning. I think both fighters are elite boxers that could pose a challenge for anybody in the division. Jacob's got the decision but SD has a bright future in the division.
Crawford is becoming more popular and mainstream. He sold out the arena and had great ratings for ESPN. Spence is also fairly popular. Both guys just need more promotion and more prime time fights.
