I could see the fight going for jmm or barrera. Judges and the ref were all idiots.
But honestly marco did need to lose a point for hitting a man while he was down. Point being taken away is ok there. Rules say when a fighter hits the floor (slip or knockdown) you can't hit any more, there is no warning needed to take points away. (Note jmm was also hit while on the floor in his 3rd knockdown againts pac, pac lost no points)
But that's also a knockdown so that should of been a 9 8 round. But jmm did have a good round besides being dropped. I don't know if I'm allowed but I made that a 9 9 round.
Over all I think I had it 113 114 for marco, but some rounds could of gone either way, I can say a close victory for jmm is decent scoreing
Tough call between 2 tough great Mexican fighters. I felt a draw or spilt. The judges cheapen the Fight. No way was is it by the margin they called it.
Barrerra controlled the action, but Marquez was the agressor and made it an action fight. I wanted Marquez but at the end, I felt Barerra should have kept his title. Oh well.... Rematch!
He never said it would be easy, he felt that mayweather would win on poinits.
DHL has taken a beating, and that is too mayweather avdantage. Mawyeather has less mileage than Oscar, and we'll see if that comes into play. I highly doubt this will be a Ko in the 8th or the 9th. Remeber that Mayweather does not have a glass chin. He CAN take a punch, and this is something the fans forget. I think his biggest weakness is if he gets trapped on the rope, and smacked to the body. Anyways I think if there is a KO stoppage, it will happen in the 11th or 12th, when Oscar understands he has to knock him out for the win.
No matter what, i love whatching great jab pussy fights ( as someone said it wouldn;t be earlier). This fight is all about skill, and it will be very fun to whatch and score.
Delahoya has never taken a beating. The Hopkins fight was hardly a beating. Delahoya does not have the war wounds as a Morales, Toney, Vargas etc. Delahoya is used to these type of Hype Fights and that will be the difference. He is a better fighter than Mayweather at this weight. He will fight his fight and does not have to worry about the threat of Mayweathers power like he did with Mosley, Trinidad, Hopkins, Quartey. Delahoya will fight his fight. As for Mayweather's defensive skills, he's no Pernel Whitaker. Delahoya will hurt Mayweather early which will cause Mayweather to put on his dancing shoes and box. Delahoyas ring genralship will be enough to impress the judges in a somewhat boring fight. Delahoya by unanimous decision.

The problem with Zab, is he's dumb, arrogant and immature . If he was smart enough to utilize the skills he has he would be great. Instead he's all about the "Bling Bling" life style and he carries that into the ring with him. Which is why he's lost 2 key fights in his carreer and will most likely lose the rematch with Spinks.

Delahoya had Tito's nose bleeding and was out boxing him through out the fight. He clearly out boxed Tito the majority of the fight. The problem with Mayweather and other Black fighters is there arrogance.
