My prediction of the Prettyboy vs Golden boy matchup

If Oscar was a real meany then he'd make floyd wear reyes gloves so he'd fuck his hand up and have him not throw as much. Oscar's already trying to get a small ring so why not gloves that could fuck up Floyd's hands. But that might mean PBF run all fight like he did against Baldy but it could give oscar the chance to out-work floyd. not only that floyd uses the big gloves defensively

foot speed and hand speed should be different categories. Id say that oscar is a little slower in handspeed, but the fight breaker will be foot speed and Oscar is hopelessly outmatched in that area.

If DLH can use his jab like he did against Vargas then he has a chance. He needs to be sharp and quick so Mayweather cant come over top with his brilliant right hands. That is the key to this fight. Delahoya does not have the war wounds as a Morales, Toney, Vargas etc. Delahoya is used to these type of Hype Fights and that will be the difference. I think this will be a slow and calculated fight. I can see Mayweather running up quite a few early rounds because he will find Oscar an easier mark than Oscar will find him. Mayweather will win those rounds on the jabbing to the body, the tricky defense, and the sharp right hands that will land here and there. I think Oscar may have a moment or two after that, but he'll find it pretty difficult to hit Mayweather, as Floyd will use his legs much more for defensive purposes in this fight. I will be surprised if Floyd frquently "sits in the pocket" as he does with lesser opponents. At this point I'm going with a unanimous decision win for Floyd. Something like 116-112 or 115-113 on all cards.

oscar is gonna box 1st few rds....will counter with combos, he'll want to lure floyd in for the first 3 rds. maybe...I believe its gonna be opposite...Oscar will be backing up the 1st 5 rds, floyd will be somewhat the aggressor...then he's going to apply more pressure around rd. 7 maybe....winning 7-9...10th round will be a classic round....then 11 n 12th all floyd.......... the first 5 rounds and the 10th round of this fight will be the most important ones....whoever takes most of those is the winner by UD...... I have a feeling that when the fight is over everyone will have thought Oscar won but the decision will go to Floyd.

I know there have been plenty of threads about this, but here's i break it down. Factor One: THE SPEED Mayweather has dazzling hand speed and foot movement, and has overwhelmed his recent opponents his speed. However Dlh is no normal opponent. He dominated Mayorga with an incredible display of his own hand speed. Overall Mayweather has the better speed, but the advantage will not be as huge as many people think. ADVANTAGE MAYWEATHER! Factor Two: THE DEFENSE. Mayweather has always been in the upper tier of pound for pound defense. He has never really been hit, and his " Shoulder Lean" is spectalular. Call it a pussy way to box if you want, but Mayweathers hit and run is dynamic, and noone besides Castillio ( first fight) has broken down his defense. On the other hand, Oscar once again is no defensive bum. He keeps his hands high, and tends to block alot of punches with the gloves. This time Mayweather clearly has the edge. ADVANTAGE MAYWEATHER! Factor Three: THE POWER Mayweather has never been known as a huge hitter in these upper weight classes, but every time he fights an opponent, they also say they are suprised by his power. His straight right hand can do some good damage. Oscar hits like a mule, and his devasting left hand is a one hit knockout punch. He landed a perfect one in round one of his mayorga fight convincing me he still has his power. The is a clear Oscar fight, oscar is the bigger and stronger man. ADVANTAGE OSCAR Factor Four: THE JAB Mayweather has a beautiful jab that is one of the main reasons he can execute his hit and run so well. He shoots it with great speed and accuracy. Oscar also has a beautiful jab. The thing that makes Oscars jab so good, is that he places it right in the middle of his opponents eye. I think overall this is draw. But Oscar has to use his jab if he is going to win this fight. A DRAW The Final Prediction: Oscar will be the aggresor, and he will land some nice jabs, but mayweather sntlyimply will not stick around for that left hook. Oscar has to batter his body to slow him down, he HAS to make this a phsical battle. I do not think he will slow down Mayweather enough untill in a very exciting 12 round he finally lands that left hook that sends Mayweather to the canvas. However Mayweather gets up, and survives the round. LADIES AND GENTELMAN, WE NOW GO TO THE SCORECARDS: The first Judge scores it a DLH win by a point., the next two score it for Mayweather by a point. And Mayweather prevals. For someone who is going with Mayweather on this fight, I can repect your points and this is a really good post. I respect the fact that you seem to be pretty objective which most fans that take Mayweather have a really hard time doing. I don't agree with a draw in the jab dept. Mayweathers jab is nowhere near as good or as effective as Oscars when he uses it consistantly. When Oscar uses his jab consistantly he still has one of thr brst in the business and it sets up everything else he does. It all starts with the jab for Oscar and if he can get it going earl and not go away from it, I think that will be trouble for Maywether. Oscars jab is stiff and snaps your head back, I've heard a lot of his opponents say that his jab is like more of a power shot than an ordinary jab. Floyd doesn't use his nearly as effectively and it would be a mistake for him to get into a jabbing contest. I also feel that at 154 Oscar has the advantage and will pull out this victory, but you make good points for the most part and think you made a very good post.
