That all you got? I see Floyd stuttering more than manny. And English is mannys 2nd/3rd language I believe.
Stuttering doesn't have anything to do with language you illiterate imbecile.
:thinking::thinking:...........................................thanks for confusing me.
if you are making a sarcastic post please put :"(sarcasm)" next to the post
What, you too muslim to understand?
Do you think Floyd will talk shit to Manny's face when they are having their promotional tour and other meetings? Do you think Manny will respond? I think Freddie will respond for Manny. I heard they are going to have 5 24/7 episodes.
I don't think Manny is capable of responding properly to Floyd.
To answer your question, yes, Floyd will mos def. talk shit to Manny's face.
I agree to what most people wrote in this thread but rememeber, this is an open workout. You can't use an open workout clip to judge anything. And the ab-workout is not something Team Mayweather have patent on. Although it doesn't look as fluid as Mayweather's you can't really judge Zab's conditioning on this because you really don't know how many repetitions he has done.
Sven Ottke held amateur wins over Antonio Tarver, Chris Byrd, Michael Moorer, Zsolt Erdei and Juan Carlos Gomez
as a pro Sven Ottke held wins over Glen Johnson, Charles Brewer, Byron Mitchell, and american legend "Tocker Pudwill"
Depends where it's fought. He needs to knock him out twice to get a win in Germany.
He's had a lot of questionable wins in his career.
Is that true? If so thats impressive. That alone was better then who Roy Jones fought.
Ottke was a great amateur boxer. I'm just not a fan of his pro. career.
I have a feeling he is a mentally weak fighter. His confidence has probably been shattered. I hope he's doing well.
after all...........Bernard Hopkins is not the end of the world.
The executioner embarrassed him.
When have you ever heard an elite prize fighter with a winning streak like Pavlik saying "I'm losing", "I can't win", "We have to stop the fight" etc...He did it against B-Hop and even more against Martinez. I've never seen or heard him like that. When Taylor knocked him down and everyone thought he would finish him off he just stood up and smiled going to his corner saying "I'm OK, I'm alright".
I think you're right about Kelly being a mentally weak fighter. It's a shame cause he was beginning to catch up on Martinez until the 2nd cut occurred.
The people who voted for "No, he's always been feather fisted" are either sore and bitter Pinoys/pactards or just ignorant individuals.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. may not pack as much power as the hardest hitters at welterweight but he had plenty of power in the lower divisions. At ww he has enough power to get your attention and respect and eventually get the K.O./TKO down the stretch. Thing is that he fights more on his back-foot.
To say he is feather fisted and always has been is just dumb.
Marquez doesn't quit without a reason. He barely threw the right hand after the 3rd round. And when he eventually did throw the right he did it one or two times in an entire round. He rocked Lopez with just one left hook numerous times. Lopez is a warrior but I rooted for Marquez and eventhough he was behind the scorecards he could still land that single punch that could turn the whole fight around.
What he's been through and given his people and the fans is simply outstanding.
by the same token, the discrepancy in chin is also staggering.
Lewis was more than chinny, KO'd by C level Oliver McCall and Ko'd by B level Rahman.
Never happened to Vitali.
Say what you want, but Vitali has been A LOT more consistent than Lennox, and Vitali has never been knocked the Fck out like Lewis has... Not once... But x2.
McCall's a heavy hitter. He hits hard. I would not rate Lewis' chin as being "glassy".
No!! It's fun to watch Boxers trading punches!! It's fighting not tag and run!! Its a competition on who's the baddest man, not the fastest runner. You might as well switch your fav sports to Track and field!!
Man, you must hate Muhammed Ali then.
i know what was i thinking :nonono:
Why doesn't that thick head of yours count in the fact that Dirrell should have had two KD's instead of one.
Dirrell won, Abraham lost. Case closed.
I got it 70-63.... Dirrell is doing great but Abraham is pissed! Great fight, loving it!
Yup, Abraham is pissed and I have a bad feeling that he will get to Dirrell in the last rounds.
Dirrell is out-boxing and out-classing Abraham. This IS how you beat Abraham cause he has no foot-work and really bad movement overall. He only rely on his power, which is great but monotonous against fighters like Dirrell and Ward. This is how Abraham has won most of his fights: by knocking people out when they're getting tired, sloppy or even lazy - even if they're outclassing him.
97-92, 98-91, 97-92 - Dirrell. That was the official scorecards until AA hit Dirrell while he had his gloves on the canvas after clearly slipping in a neutral corner.
Round 10, it was KD by AA. I don't get why the ref didn't ruled that a KD.
However, that still wasn't enough to win the fight and AA clearly needed a KO to win the fight.
I feel sad for Dirrell cause he out-boxed and out-classed AA in every aspect. He (Dirrell) got sloppy sometimes but didn't give AA much chance to throw those wild swinging powershots.
Sad it had to turn this way.
uh oh.hope Direll does not get tired..he working hard at the moment..AA keeps complaining, the biatch..lol
I hope Dirrell takes it. I hate one-dimensional fighters like Abraham. He has heart but is awful to watch...
It was a knockdown indeed, but it was more AA being off balance than anything. AA had a knockdown of Dirrell aswell, that's if your blind biased ref would get off Dirrell's nuts and judge a fair fight, not allowing ballshots all night long. Dirrell was slowing down in the later rounds, being the power puncher AA is, I saw it ending the same way as the Taylor fight.
If you want to call it a KD for AA in the 10th, then why don't you mention Dirrell's KD of AA that also went over the ref's head? That's still 2 KD's for Dirrell.
Talk about being bias...or blind.
I think that is getting over looked. Watching it sounded like shotguns were going off. He was drilling him to the body.
And every single time it hurt him he looked at the judge to complain like his fellow mate Ottke.
Heyheyhey. Calm down bro. I'm only the messenger. The german media has the story fairly big.
This is so ****ing typical German sports journalism. They didn't lift an eyebrow when Abraham got a gift decision against Miranda in their first bought, they didn't say anything when Robin Reid and Mitchell got robbed in Germany and now they're trying to dig up stories about Dirrell hiding by the fact that "their man" (and his brother) is a ****ing disgrace to boxing.
Bravo, bravo...
I slip is from now on a "Dirrell". He slipped AGAIN like 3 times. It doesn't make any sense.
Besides that Dirrell outboxed Abraham who punched because he got desperate for a KO win.
He slipped twice in AA's corner on the (misplaced) advertisement because the canvas was wet and slippery. There's nothing funny about that. It happens when you're a fighter who has a lot of movement. I don't get why you can fault someone for slipping.
Ha, ha . Low blows. AA is notorious for always complaining every time he gets hit with clean BODY SHOTS. He gets away with that oversees, but not here because we call that good body work. It's his weak spot and Direll exploited it all night. And as far as the knockdown, what about the second knockdown that Direll scored on AA and the ref let it go? What about the doctor working on AA's cut for a good 45 seconds? WTF was that about? I think that more then evens it out. Brought with the fact that Direll dominated almost every minute of every round.
You pinned it down but blind follows the blind I guess. And I'm saying this as an European.
Everytime Abraham gets hit by a perfect body shot he throws his arms down a looks over to the ref to say it's low....wait...let me think...who else has done that against solid body punchers....oh yeah, Ottke. He just got away with it.
Hop is a dirty ass fighter though, and I wouldn't call that cocking back. He landed a punch that Dirrell probably walks through during sparring.
his emotions got the best of him, but Dirrell wasn't that hurt, he was up and grabbed his eye. Then falls back and acts like he's knocked out cold, he doesn't suffer a concussion, but has amnesia after the fight?
Utter bullcrap. You use headgear in sparring and usually 16oz+ gloves. Plus that you don't whack your sparring partner while he's slipped on the canvas and has both gloves planted solidly. That was a knock-out punch. You write it like he was graced. The punch came from behind with his weight in it and was planted on his jaw-line and to make it worse Dirrell never saw it coming. That's not a jab or "a punch that Dirrell probably walks through during sparring"...
DIRRELL CRYBABY! :bottle:
It's stupid comments like these that make this site unbearable at times.
You have clearly not been hit before. That was a hard punch. He was clipped by the jaw. A delayed reaction is common when you're about to have a blackout. His eyes were clearly gone.
You would have to be an ass to think he would quit when he was ahead on all scorecards. AA needed a KO to win.
And the fact is: His glove was on the canvas. You can't ****ing argument around that.
Holy****ing god. BULLSHIT!
Are you blind or just stupid? He slipped in that corner the 2nd time, his gloves was on the canvas and the ref said "no!". What the **** do you call that, lazy Dane.
This is not a guessing-game. Come up with something more factual. You don't know shit about what was going to happen in the later rounds so I'll just end your reply right......here.
he...
he did fake it ...he was like luevano vs concepcion but the disqualification on that fight was justified....lawrence cole was just horrible being so biaesd towrds dirrel..........thats how i saw it!
Then you clearly didn't see anything...
He fought back against curruption. You spit on me, I spit on you. He is a true role model. I learned something from him tonight. If you are being corrupted against, say no and fight back. Take a stand. Be brave. Don't let anyone ever take advantage of you.
Fight corruption!
Okay Internet-warrior. Tie that rag around your monitor and bounce 'till the mouse unplugs.
I watched the full fight +replays of the incidents. It STILL doesn't look like he's faking it to me. If he did, then Dirrell must have one of the toughest chins in this division cause that was a hard shot that clipped the jaw.
Fake or not, he threw a (power) punch while Dirrell was down on his knee with both hands on the canvas after a slip in AA's corner. How the **** can you justify that?
It's funny to read the comments on this board suggesting how Dirrell should have behaved if he really was hurt by that punch cause none of you have had shots to the head like that. Try it then come back telling me what it felt and looked like...
