I find these "Manny on Steroids" threads pretty funny. Manny weighed about 145 pounds on the night of his fights with Barrera, Marquez, Morales. Two to three pounds less than his weight on the night of his fights with DLH, Hatton and Cotto. Because he destroyed these guys he must be on steroids. What a bunch of crock. Fact of the matter is Manny was extremely dehydrated at weigh-in when he was fighting at 130 or less and he would gain up to 15 pounds on the day of the fight. So unless there's proof he's taking steroids, it's all speculation and you know what happens when you ASSuME.

1st of all---nobody's saying anything about him rejecting the tests really--it's him rejecting the test at random dates---he wants set dates--those are subjective dates--i'm not accusing manny of taking anythig and neither did floyd jr., he just wants objective dates--that's more than reasonable in this situation--and it doesn't make much sense when manny's diet coach or whoever he is makes a statement claiming manny doesn't know what he gives him---only he knows in the mist of all this--makes that comment---like he's ready to take the fall for a soon to be congressman candidate--where honesty is crucial----so randomized drug testing is really needed after that comment---

Pac's refusal is making alot of people wonder and it's tarnishing his reputation.
DLH's talking shit, Marquez and Bradley are refusing to fight him unless he does the same testing and all this came after his refusal, not after the statements of a senile old man.
I gotta a lot of respect for Pac, and i don't think he's cheating, but he needs to just shut Floyd and everyone else up by taking the test randomly as per the contract.
I agree. It's now a witch hunt and the whole world is watching. Nobody's buying that Pac is scared of needles (stupid excuse by Arum), it saps his energy or it's a superstition thing. The way I see it, if he wants to preserve his good name and legacy, he needs to agree to the testing and put all doubts to bed.

Mayweather has a higher chance of getting knocked down. Manny has knockout power with both hands. PBF doesn't. Manny has also proven that he can take big shots. If PBF do knock Manny down, it will happen in the later rounds only after effectively chipping away at Manny in the earlier rounds.
The way I see it, this whole Olympic style testing can only affect Floyd Jr. negatively. I don't think Manny gives a shit either way. If he's clean then he's got nothing to worry about. By requesting this testing, the Mayweathers are pretty much admitting flat out that Pacquiao is too good to be true and so he must be on something. No mind games, they're just in awe of Manny's superpowers and are suspicious. When Manny's tests come out negative and they know Manny's the real deal, what's that going to do to Floyd Jr. mentally? Shit, he's going to think he's going in the ring against Wapakman.

I don't know how old you are, but it used to be, especially in the 70s and 80s (can't attest before that) and it's coming back mostly due to Pacquiao. Shit I remember seeing Hagler, Hearns and Leonard in all kinds of TV commercials.

You know why this is going to be a great fight? Because both Floyd and Manny will be facing an opponent, who will be able to exploit each others weaknesses at any given moment. Both have great stamina and both feel they cannot be beaten.

These guys hit each other with everything they got including the kitchen sink. With the exception of that flash knockdown in the first round, Martinez was never really hurt. Martinez landed more damaging blowe except he just couldn't keep up with Williams work rate in the later rounds. The fight could have went either way. I had it as a draw. REMATCH!
I guess Arum thinks if he can't get a fight with the real Mayweather then the next best thing is with a wannabe Mayweather. Wrong! I hope this fight doesn't happen but if it does, I hope Manny makes that greaseball suffer for the full 12 rounds. Suicide.
