At 154 Sergio beats him. He's as natual a Jr. Middleweight as they come and fought for only the second time above the weight he's best at. He also only had less than a month to prepare, his stamina wouldn't be a problem in the second fight.
War Martinez.
this looked so much like the Quintana fight early that it was scary. clearly Williams still makes the same mistakes he did two years ago (Feb 2008). I'd pick Williams in a rematch, not sure if he would score a knockout though.
These guys hit each other with everything they got including the kitchen sink. With the exception of that flash knockdown in the first round, Martinez was never really hurt. Martinez landed more damaging blowe except he just couldn't keep up with Williams work rate in the later rounds. The fight could have went either way. I had it as a draw. REMATCH!
I think Paul convincingly beats Sergio in the rematch. Paul was head-hunting and probably took a lot more risk than he should have.
This time Sergio actually blocks and throws the left and Williams is out by the 5th rd.
Williams looked like he had been beaten by a gang of guys by the end of the fight, lol
