That's one of the stupidest posts i've ever read. Do you realize that Lennox looked his best the fight right before the one with Vitali when he dominated Tyson He looked good against Tyson because he was closer to his prime weight in that fight. Against Vitali he was a career high 257 pounds, almost 15 lbs overweight. Oh yeah and he STILL won, Prime Vit is not as good as flabby unfocused Lennox. Fact.

Vitali still had chances to KO him. How many times did Johnson hang his chin out taunting Vitali?? but Vitali was too damn slow and wouldn't (I guess he was scared of Johnson countering?) punish him.

Vitali didn't look as sharp as usual against a totally defensive fighter. Yet he still won every round and was never once even slightly hurt. And still some people are stupid enough to compare him with Golota in the 90's? Golata is not an insult. He was a decent competitor in the 90's and gave Riddick Bowe fits, but when he ran into Tyson and Lennox it was a different story. If the Vitali of yesterday fought the old 2003 Lennox who was about the same age Vit is now, it wouldnt even be close. Vitali is a good heavyweight but not a great one.

both Klits are mountains. i would put Vitali in the ring against any Heavyweaght in history and expect to see a competitive fight.

vitali himself is a guy that refuses to fight, you must not know the klits. Vitali threw over 1000 punches and came forward the entire fight. Tell me some other HWs that throw over 1000 punches? Many of them power shots.

The Heavyweight division is a travesty, and we wont know exactly how bad it is untill someone decent comes along. Its no small coincidence that all of the Klitschko losses occured in the late 90s early 2000's(when the division was actually formidable) Vitali's best was barely enough to keep up with Lennox's worst and that tells the whole story really. Kevin Johnson would be a tomato can in the 90's and Klitschkos would be Golata. Just truth . I dont agree with this at all. With VK size,chin, power he would be a very difficult fight for anyone.
