I'm not saying he's gonna knock him out, but I can see him hurting Pac and flooring him. I know he's not as strong as Cotto, but if he rips off a quick counter that Pac doesn't see, he can cause some damage. He is the bigger guy also.
LOL so now Floyd is a compassionate fighter? He doesn't KO his opponents because he cares :blow:
He's well aware of the dangers of the sport, which is why he is constantly criticized for "running" and not having enough power to KO his opponents.
Doesn't mean he's scared to fight.
It's evident he has displayed knockout power in the past.
I'm sure many thought the worse when Manny rocked Ricky. Ricky was barely responding while he was laying on the mat for several minutes. What if, heaven forbid, Ricky passed on that night or soon after?
Again, and I repeat, doesn't mean he won't KO Manny.
Doesn't mean there won't be a KO by either side.
If he lands on Pac enough like he did againsts Hattton PBF has the power to accumalitively hurt.
But Pac is more of a boxer than hatton and Jmm wasnt knocked out so i dont think pacquio will take too many without being able to land his on PBF.

"he's the bigger guy"
mistake no.1
they weigh about the same on fight night, more like he's the taller guy.

OOOOOOLEEEEEEEEEEE!
Some bull fighters have been known to drop the ball and have their scrotums reconfigured.
if floyd connects with a check hook its over. i feel floyd has deceptive power, he never really goes full leverage into his shots for fear over his defensive posture
Mak,
If he doesn't finish the job, it's likely because he'll be so ahead on the cards with the inevitable outcome that he'll find it unnecessary to put him out.
I have reason to believe Floyd is also compassionate about his opponents
when he has to be. Though he has dished out some mean punishment on some opponents in the past when they've turned up the heat to try and take him out.
He'd rather see a fighter go out on his shield than see a fighter's career ruined by a life altering injury. Something he is concerned about himself.
That's just what I feel about it.
LOL so now Floyd is a compassionate fighter? He doesn't KO his opponents because he cares :blow:
like the Marquez fight in the 2nd round?
and i'm not really a fan of compassion in the ring...maybe after the fight...its the hurt game bro...i'm a paying fan and i want to see high-intensity competition
PAC's compassionate too...look at how he tried to help peel David Diaz off the canvass after he put him down
I'm not predicting a knockout won't happen by either side, I'm only saying
Floyd may not try and finish Manny off if he doesn't need to, especially if he's aware that he's going to win anyway.
He might want to finish the job for the fans since it's the likely biggest fight of the year.
I can see him hurting Pacquiao to, not to say he will floor him or knock him out, although neither would surprise me.
Its like Crilla said on Burner's phone in, Mayweather plays the %, he does enough to beat you, and the more pressure you put on the more he shows. I dont expect Pacquiao to be knocked down or hurt early because Mayweather is usually very tight early on in fights, he takes time to establish his rhythm. Also, Pacquiao is gonna jump all over Mayweather when that first bell goes, that said when Manny starts to tire from throwing so many punches/applying so much pressure, he could pay the price due to tiredness.
Dont know whether he will! but its not inconceivable.
if he drops PAC, it would be the ultimate blueball for floyd stans because floyd would just admire his work and not finish the job

Lennox Lewis: "tap on the rock enough and it will crack"
In order to do that you have to tap enough. Recent history dictates that Floyd's work rate most likely won't be enough to "crack" pac
Mayweather has a higher chance of getting knocked down. Manny has knockout power with both hands. PBF doesn't. Manny has also proven that he can take big shots. If PBF do knock Manny down, it will happen in the later rounds only after effectively chipping away at Manny in the earlier rounds.
Mayweather won't KO or hurt Pac because the second he tries to do that he's going to be open to get the shit kicked out of him. He's going to fight this little guy the same way he fought the other little guy, by running, countering 1 punch at a time and trying to win a decision.
I'm not saying he's gonna knock him out, but I can see him hurting Pac and flooring him. I know he's not as strong as Cotto, but if he rips off a quick counter that Pac doesn't see, he can cause some damage. He is the bigger guy also.
i agree with you,it can happen,if manny keeps coming in and out with combos he will get caught and floyd has enough power to put him down,i know everyones keeps saying hes always running and he only potshots but the truth is you dont have 25 kos out of 40 by running away all the time and as far as the pot shotting goes, if out lands manny then what,if only throws 15-20 punches and catches him every time and makes manny miss then what?pbf wins
Activity is key to this fight. Floyd isn't going to pot shot his way to a KO against Pac nor does he have one shot power at WW.
If Floyd wins, it'll be by outboxing Manny for 12 rounds.
