damn....I liked Garcia but all this makes me think he isn't as good as I thought...guess fighting a few past thier prime fighters dont mean a thing....thanks
i voted wlad by ko, cause it's the most logical choice, but i wouldn't mind seeing rahman catch him with a haymaker and score a big upset---- it's been the year of the underdog so far, lets see---
he does get on my nerves at times, but not always- one things for sure, he loves his cocktails. He had dinner at my pops restaurant in pr hours before the cotto-branco fight and he threw back at least 3 drinks. He probrally gets so twisted before events that he just can't stop rambling on.
this decade roy jones won the heavyweight title...floyd won titles in 130,135,140,147,154...bhop at 43 beat the current middleweight champ...pacman is great but dont forget every thing else thats happened this decade...that being siad he may very well be fighter of the decade..i never said he wasnt
word up- i agree word for word

I see that with every fan on this site--- For an Island so small that has produced so many champs, its only right to be so proud! I do admit its kinda ****ed up that when a local boxer loses a match, props aren't given to the man who won. call it hard-headiness or unconditional love, who knows----
Don't say I didn't warn you!
Michael Jennings will not be a stepping stone for no man. I love the way Miguel Cotto and his fans are looking at fights in the future, not a single one is giving the lad from Chorley a chance in hell. Jennings has been waiting his whole life for this opportunity, if Cotto thinks all he has to do is turn up for the win then he is in for a big shock!
Remember Don Curry? The Lone Star Cobra? 27th September 1986? That's all I have to say on the matter.
You must be buggin homeboy!!!! Jennings don't have enuff skills or power. Cotto is looking for redemtion. He's coming to annihilate Jennings.
tu sabes si la pelea de ahora va a ser en bayamon? o en el choliseo?

This has to be one of the most vile, disgusting things I have reported on. In a recent article by the Telegraph UK, Freddie Roach tells scribe Gareth A. Davies about a horrible incident from Pacquiao's childhood.
Roach tells the publication that as a young boy, Pacquiao ran away from home after he found out his own father had eaten his pet Dog! Yes, that's right, Pacquiao's father, as disgusting as it sounds, ate Pacquiao's dog. Talk about child abuse. WTF!
Roach confided to the publication: "Manny ran away from home after his father ate his dog, and he lived on the street, where he bought doughnuts at a doughnut store and then sold each one for a nickel more to survive."
That is some sick sh!t. One can only imagine just how hard it was for Pacquiao to fight his way out of poverty. Poverty is awful, but I also feel very sorry for Pacquiao after reading what his father did to his beloved pet. Stuff like that when growing up, must stay with one forever. The kind of wound that probably will never heal.
I dont think pac wanted peaple to know about that.
I'm sure thats why Pac is so ferocious in the ring. Once you fight your way out the gutter you don't ever want to go back----------

Hagler-hearns round 1
Nothing like seeing an inside and outside fighter both slug it out :boxing:
Oh Yeahhhh, a very close second would be Castillo- Corrales round 10, then Gatti- Ward round 9 (first fight)
