So Christmas is coming up and I know I for one am at a point where I don't really need or want anything. I'm sure most people here are in the same position where your parents still want Christmas to be how it used to be, but I'm really at a loss for what to ask for. So I've basically come to the conclusion that my list is going to made up of Boxing fights on DVD. I'm trying to construct a solid list but wanted to ask for suggestions on your guys' favorite fights.
So far I have the essentials like:
Vazquez/Marquez Trilogy
Corrales/Castillo I
All the fights between the 4 Kings
Pacquiao/Marquez I and II
These are staples, but I don't want to ask for too many so I wanted hear some suggestions.
(I have Cotto's career set, so no need for any Cotto fights)
Nunn vs Tate is a masterclass, he could of been so much better as well it's scary.
I'll try and send you some of the others, there are some classics in there.
I was live at Nunn vs Steve Little, it was on the Benn vs Wharton bill.
Nunn got put down in the first, but that is the only round he lost. I don't know how they gave it to little but it wasn't the nunn of old by any stretch.
that toney defeat finished him, as much as it pains me to say it. he was a confidence fighter and after toney knocked it from him he was never the same fighter.
do you have the Littles fight ?
Marvin Hagler vs Thomas Hearns
Lennox Lewis vs Shannon Briggs
Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor
Larry Holmes vs Ken Norton
Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas
Thomas Hearns vs Iran Barkley I
Nigel Benn vs Chris Eubank I
Nigel Benn vs Gerald McClellan
Nigel Benn vs Michael Watson
Michael Watson vs Chris Eubank I
Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier I & III
Thomas Hearns vs Ray Leonard I
Marvin Hagler vs John Mugabi
Ive seen these but there are quite a few on your list i have not seen, i here that a few of the ones you mentioned are great fights though.
I do have Nelson v Sanchez on dvd but have not got around to watching it yet, also i have the Tate v Nunn fight and i have not sat down to watch that either yet, but im deffo going to watch those two fights because they were apparently very good fights and Nunn is also one of my favourites
have you ever seen Nunn v Littles when he lost the title ?was that a good fight?

My list:
1. Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo 1: Best fight ever. Really no comparison.
2. Marvin Johnson vs Matthew Franklin (Saad Muhhammmad): THE FIGHT YOU MUST SEE! You probably haven't seen it, but god it comes in a close second for it. It's such a great fight.
3. Muhhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier III: Probably the best heavyweight fight I've seen.
4. Marvin Hagler vs Thomas Hearns: Does this really need explanation?
5. Humberto Gonzalez vs Michael Carbajal 1: Great, great fight.
I'm waiting on your thoughts on my list. Have you seen all of them because I can recommend any of them you haven't seen.

LOL, that's actually pretty funny. Your reactions cool..look I only said it seemed uncanny the amount in the list, that's all. I could've insinuated more directly but I didn't when most people on here if they really do think something, just say so in a much worse fashion. Sorry if it offended and I'll take the hit here or there as perhaps it was a daft comment. Keyzer, don't try to make more of it then there is for other motives, create your own wars if you must.
Oh, and Hamed isn't black. jk :D

Lewis,Lacy,Tyson,Douglas,Kelly,Frazier,Ali,Hamed, Eubank,Benn Holy,Miranda

plus so many more that I could mention. Not all of the above were thrillers, but they are my favourites for one reason or another.
Christ far worse is bluntly said around here, I regret saying that as it can be a can of worms, but I was merely saying it seemed odd statistically. Reactions a little over the top. Yes some of the most successful fighters in history are black, but the sheer level in the list period seemed excessive, not to mention no white guys in either sig. But whatever, sorry if it offended.
Some of mine..
Lewis vs Klitschko
Tyson vs Douglas
Abraham vs Miranda
Lewis vs Holyfield 2
Eubank vs Benn 1, 2
Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier
Pacqioa vs Morales 2
Pac vs jmm 1, 2
Cotto vs Margarito
Tito vs ODL
Hamed vs Kelly
Calzaghe vs Lacy
Hopkins vs Pavlik
Will have to think of more, as like p4p it's something that you often change your mind on a little over time...
oh yeah
Lewis,Lacy,Tyson,Douglas,Kelly,Frazier,Ali,Hamed, Eubank,Benn Holy,Miranda

Keyzer, your mostly just being an opportunist as you hate Calzaghe and me, you chatting about other shit just demonstrates that. If you grow some balls, perhaps you could be a real life warrior, rather than just an e one.

He's such a dumb fukk, he actually said there were no "white" ones in references to the fights. Can someone explain to me what a white fight is?
That little bitch better get back to his "Joe Calslappy - My Life Story" DVD before he embarasses himself further.
I like Kris, but that was a wierd comment.
my revised list
Calzaghe v Pudwill
Calzaghe v Reid
Hatton v Rowland
Hatton v Thaxton
Hatton v Smith
Hatton v Pederson
Calzaghe v Starie
Calzaghe v Woodhall
Brodie v Swain
McCullough v Harrison
John Ruiz vs. David Tua
Hagler vs. Hearns
Holyfield vs. Tyson I
Lennox Lewis vs. Vitali Klitschko
Pavlik vs. Miranda
Holyfield vs. Bert Cooper
Holyfield vs. Foreman
Foreman vs. Cooney

racist fcuk
Not really, it was a reply to what you posted so completely on topic.
That list compiles a hell of a lot of fights, with such a minority of white fighters it seems a little uncanny. That is all I've said. I've not straight up said the r word like so common around here, or insinuated in the way you might think.
Can't elaborate really, and no point discussing it. I was just commenting that it was a little odd.
on Topic would of been to post YOUR favourite fights
it would be odd if I were black, but even if i was black then it would or could still be seen as a legit.....because like i said the majority of successful fighters throughout history are black
you convinently glossed over that ......so i will ask it again are the majority of successful fighters throughout history black ?
so whats odd here ?the only thing that is odd here is that you are trying to insinuate im the big R even though im white :lol1:
its cool though :fing02:
That's around 40 favourite fights, and only a few are white. Not to mention none are in your avatar, or either sig.
What are the chances, a little uncanny.
Are you talking about fights between two white guys?
I can't think of many good ones tbh.
John Ruiz vs. David Tua
Hagler vs. Hearns
Holyfield vs. Tyson I
Lennox Lewis vs. Vitali Klitschko
Pavlik vs. Miranda
Holyfield vs. Bert Cooper
Holyfield vs. Foreman
Foreman vs. Cooney
well it was out of the blue was'nt ?
