What some people don't get is that Wilder actually have more range. Fury have more reach but he rarely throws a straight punch, while Wilder is faster. Add to this that Fury likes to get squared a lot and we can see a short fight
Hearns easily, too good a boxer and jr wouldn't be able to brawl/grapple him. And we should give Hearns one weight-class advantage since he weighed in the same day
I agree. I think the only criticism is that he doesn't utilize a ton of head movement, but he also doesn't get touched much in fights. He slips and rolls a ton of shots and doesn't really get hit more than the likes of Crawford and Canelo who are both considered slick.
It's not a flaw but a choice. He avoids moving his head too much while punching to not add up his movement to possible counters. Very visible in the Moloney fight where Moloney was consistently moving his head where Inoue's punches went to meet him, while Inoue took some to deliver some but didn't add anything to Moloney's punches
I don't think he's that good of an infighter. It's not really a knock since infighting is a lost art to a degree. I think Steph will have the advantage if he can make it that type of fight.
That would be a mistake on Fulton's part. Rodriguez got knocked in the inside even if he himself was pushing the action. The left hook that got Donaire in the second round was in the inside too. Inoue trains an arsenal of such little inside tricks, just that most fighters don't stay in the pocket to taste it, preferring to run away instead
Stylistically, Spence have the advantage, but the inactivity and injuries will pull him down. I firmly believe we will know the winner by the 6th, the second half will be reality setting in. If I have to say, it's Spence on a decision
He got his ass handed to him. Was lucky Pacquiao was carrying an injury or he would get knocked out and the judges wouldn't be able to save his record again
I don't know what he's waiting for. But looking at his record, he has fought 7 - 9 times in some of the years he fought. Meaning he has history of keeping himself active. What changed? Only his team can answer that. People can only speculate.
He grew, can't make the weight without a full camp
The trick to maintain performance in the middle 30s is to lose weight in a controlled way. CR7, Benzema and Modric all did that and it got them performing until 35 at least. That's probably what gave Donaire a resurgence. So Inoue needs to get to feather soon and then turn back before the extra weight slows him down
Usyk is higher then inoue thats for sure. Com on dude. 122 is ****ing tiny. Great fighter but on the lower end of the p4p top 10 imo
That's the entire point of p4p, comparing boxers beyond their weight class
Only thing I notice is he Keeps his left hand a little low to invite offense from the opponent. As he moves up and faces dudes with 72-74in reach, that will be problematic.
That is easily fixed.
That's actually a thing he learned recently. Until after the first Donaire fight he kept his hands high as his preferred stance
those guys aren't boxers.
damage accumulates
Inoue is barely taking damage. Pacquiao was beating top welterweights beyond 35 even with way more damage received. These guys are freak athletes, as long as they don't break their bodies it's highly possible
I get that but he may have to after hes beat all the legit contenders at 130.
They kicked it around in espn today.
Unless he drops back down for like Nakatani or Bam Rodriguez.
He said he wants to fight only until 35, no lightweight for him
Amazing how many boxing fans don’t know that Crawford went to SCOTLAND to take the belt off their champion. Inoue stays in his comfort zone in Japan, makes champions come to him cause he too scared to fight under US boxing rules, wants everything his way, his terms, his rules.
Crawford P4P number 1 after Saturday, and he’s beat the better opposition after Saturday night.
Crawford will become TWO TIME undisputed, the first ever in history, and you guys acting like Inoue who just beat an overhyped fighter is the best.
You know that Inoue beat Rodriguez in Scotland too, don't you, boxing fan?
Show some respect! Fulton goes over to ESPN, travels to Japan to fight Inoue when he could’ve just rematched Figueroa at 126. It’s fans like you that make fighters hesitant to take risks with their careers.
He chased greatness but got dominated by a truly special talent. I know you’re probably just trolling but STFU man.
I agree with your comment and your name
