Close fight again. After 24 rounds it's morally a draw between these two guys. Bias among judges has given it to Canelo, however, who might've edged this one but definitely not the first one. It could be a third fight but GGG is over his prime so Canelo should be favourite for the "rubber match" if it happens.
Canelo: As tough as they come but very flat footed. Can't be knocked out, apparently.
GGG: Also very tough but gave up ring generalship to Canelo. Should've tried more body shots
So corrupt and outrageous you can’t hope for another outcome than Clendelo getting his head knocked off.
Unless you’re a Mexican redhead you’ve got to root for GGG.
Jaron Ennis could be the next Roy Jones with that killer jump in lead hook or he could flop. You can't be sure about those hot prospects before they've been in deep with the true elite guys. He isn't top10 pfp yet but could soon be. Bivol is super talented, after Haney he might be the most complete fighter these days, at least technically. Canelo had no business being at LHW, thus he has nothing to be ashamed about. Nonetheless, he's likely a tad past his prime by now.
Boxing is actually pretty decent these days. HW has the big 4 and there's several fighters with a potential of becoming atgs: Inoue, Haney (my current favorite), Spence OR Crawford, Fury, Usyk and maybe even Bivol, if he gets the match-ups.
Beterbiev commanded the ring, pursued / chased Bivol every round, landed effectively, and sliced him open. Bivol ran, stopped briefly to lash out now and then, and ran again. An even more obvious victory for Artur than the first fight.
I could smell this result coming though. Between round highlights showed the few punches landed by Bivol from several angles so the narrative was he was dominating Artur. Announcers so biased I turned off the sound after the first round.
Seriously: exactly what did Bivol do to earn the win over the champ?
Bivol hit Beterbiev more and cleaner this time around. He dominated the later rounds, except perhaps the 12th. He did just enough to won imo.
maybe that would explain Maidana's power and KO ratio. Just like with Margarito.
Maidana could have been using tampered gloves in all his fights for years and they might have passed right under the commissions nose undetected - just like Margarito's handwraps did - for years & years!
What yall think? Has Maidana been cheating all this time as a pro? It's looking more and more likely if you think about it!
Yes, just like Area 51.
My thing is if you saw the video it was obvious there was something wrong with the Blue gloves. The red gloves looked to be low on padding as well. As I commented on another forum, you have to ask yourself one question, if you were a fighter and caught somebody trying to use gloves that everyone, including the commission agreed contained insufficient padding, would you be ok with allowing that fighter to use the same style glove in a different color? I highly doubt any of you would.
Mind games or not, those Blue gloves were definitely bad, and Garcia continued to defend them which no one is even commenting about. The fact is those gloves may have been tampered with and a bunch of you guys only got dirt to throw on Mayweather for forcing them to change gloves. SMH.
I saw the video and it was obvious that there was something wrong with Floyds courage, not gloves. This is a b*tch move if there ever was one.
