maybe that would explain Maidana's power and KO ratio. Just like with Margarito.

What yall think? Has Maidana been cheating all this time as a pro? It's looking more and more likely if you think about it!
LOL. OK, in the name of not backing down. First you have to delineate between 3 (4 if you're religious) types of laws. The first group of laws are the physical rules of the universe. Things like gravity, and mass interactions with gravity to produce a round planets. Belief isn't required as these (or our best approximation of them) just are, until otherwise disproven. The second group of laws is for the religious. These are laws as prescribed by god(s)(ess(s)). Given that god(s)(ess(s)) has a lot of brands and flavours like icecream, good luck with that, IMHO. The third group of laws are those governing a person and their interaction with the state. Even if those happen to be whack, it's probably best to pay them some heed as the state reserves a monopoly on acceptable violence and coercion. The fourth and final group of laws, in which we are dealing are the glorious BS laws of the irreligous, non-sciences, that don't involve the state. That's what we're talking about today. These laws are seldom inviolable, but merely aspire to general meta-type usefulness if their underlying requisites are met. In the case of Betteridge's law of headlines, which states, "Any headline which ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no.", the general meta-type usefulness comes from the working assumption "The reason why journalists use that style of headline is that they know the story is probably bull****, and don’t actually have the sources and facts to back it up, but still want to run it." which is abundantly clear in the case of this thread, as opposed to it being a law of the universe, god, or the government.
Also, :hijacked:
"laws", whether linguistic, physical etc.. can be disproved through empiricism.. Betteridge's so-called law is empirically disproven daily, with numerous headlines in hundreds of different languages that ask a rhetorical question with the answer to that question being "yes" rather than "no".
Basically it's a proposition by Betteridge which is disproven daily - hundreds of times daily.
I might as well make a counter-law, let's call it Flatline's Law of Headlines which asserts that any headline which ends in a question mark can be answered with "yes". -- That's exactly how useful Betteridge's law is.
You have my permission to write the Wiki page for me.
the originator of that "law" admitted to violating it.. that means the law is redundant, easily violated, unreliable, essentially useless and fundamentally flawed..
i guess you're still holding on to the "earth is flat" law too?

exactly man, good points.. first there was antonio margacheato and now there's marcos el cheato maidana!
it looks like almost a case closed on this one, el cheato been using these compromised gloves for years.. should he be banned from the sport?
When Maidana opens his defamation suit against the Mayweathers, this post will be used as part of the evidence in the case. It's already been submitted to team Maidana so deleting it will do no good, just an fyi. :haha:
There was nothing wrong with Margarito's gloves for fuck sake.
Some of these geniuses don't know the difference between hand wrapping and gloves, lol....boxing fans, got to love them. :boxing:
Yes i think he has, but in his big fights against khan, alexander etc he knew he would get caught so he didn't have his padding-less gloves
he's been exposed as a cheat and a bum, floyd will ruin this bum
How has he been exposed? The rep even said that the red gloves were approved by the Nevada state commission and were used by Angulo iin his last fight and Maidana against Soto-Karass as well as being used in Vegas since 2008 with no issues at all.
Floyd and his team took them out of the bag in brand new condition, straight from the factory and said they were tainted. The rep almost said Floyd and his team were trying to cheat but he stopped short and said "They are behind closed doors trying to figure it out now but I have no idea what is going on". The expression on his face says it all though....he also says "The red gloves have already been approved by the Nevada state commission so I don't see what Mayweather can do about it".
The fact that he admitted violating the law only further confirms it's existence. :p

According to Garcia, Mayweather's camp said no to Reyes as well.
I think its only fair that Maidana's chops off his hands and fights Fraud with bloody stumps. At the end of the day, Fraud's the greatest of all time, the best ever, 45-0 so he calls the shots.
PS: The stumps should be covered with TMT approved pillows. Its only fair.

Maidana deserved Floyd fight more than Khan. Get over it already you Brittard.
The gloves come from the factory to the arena, Maidana never touched the gloves, Mayweather camp was just trying to get Maidana to use Grant. Maidana should just use Reyes now.

CONGRADULATIONS! You've just helped prove Betteridge's law of headlines, or:
"Any headline which ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no."
The time saving corollary is that after answering 'no', you usually can just skip reading what was wrote because of the high probability of it being utter bollocks. :boxing:

Congrats on shooting yourself in the foot ..
Betteridge has admitted violating his own law (writing a question headline with the answer "yes") in an article titled "Does the Mac App Store let you use software for commercial use?" published at his own site.
Not true not always..when margacheato got caught it was nazeem richardson who exposed the cheating fraud..so it looks like the commission don't give a fu** what's happening
There was nothing wrong with Margarito's gloves for fuck sake.

can the mods explain to me how you can allow this moron to keep his account? LOL
like asking a question about cheating in the sport of boxing shouldn't be allowed?
gtfo c0cksucker, dont let me see your face around here again.. you are the type of retards who applaud cheating & dishonesty. i know your type, you scum.
maybe that would explain Maidana's power and KO ratio. Just like with Margarito.
Maidana could have been using tampered gloves in all his fights for years and they might have passed right under the commissions nose undetected - just like Margarito's handwraps did - for years & years!
What yall think? Has Maidana been cheating all this time as a pro? It's looking more and more likely if you think about it!
Yes, just like Area 51.
Post proof of them being tampered.
You're asking too much, BN. I'm actually surprised the guy is capable of posting at all considering his profound retardation.
