Sorry pugilist, but he is the fakest guy I have seen in long time. You can tell he puts up a front like he is genuine, it's a cheap act. He sounds as fake as Kobe does sometimes when he is being interviewed.
This guy is a fake christian, he is a liar, he talks about respect yet hits his opponents after the bell sounds and stares at them in a non-christian manner. He is greedy, he was fighting Goosen over MORE MONEY and went behind his back to sign with Roc Nation while under contract. Which ended up killing Goosen.
We never agree, but you're probably my favorite poster bro. Damn I'm in fucking tears
He wanted to fight Mayweather at 154. A division where Mayweather was a world champion at. So what's the hypocrisy? there's none. Unless you are saying that Mayweather was a fake champion at 154...
Canelo is a MW, and a MW champion, who wants to weaken people into 155, or 157, when he weights more than GGG fight night. Such a *****, and everyone knows it.
Funny thing is that Canelo never faced a MW. He's just not that good. Overrated as ****.
He wanted Cotto too, now he's discrediting Canelo's win claiming that Cotto isn't a real middleweight. Your defense?
Cotto was the lineal/WBC/ring MW champion. Your brain? forgotten somewhere?
Golovkin said despite that, Cotto's not a middleweight. Golovkin said that, and then critiized the legitmacy of Canelo's winning of the MW title from someone who isn't a "real" MW. But it's the same guy GGG himself wanted to fight. Where's your brain, idiot.
Canelo's best is yet to come. He was a good young fighter when he fought Floyd. He'll be a good youmg fighter when he sends Khan into a slumber. Canelo will be great fighter by the time he's 28, 29 and accepts his place in the Middleweight and Super Middleweight divisions.
I find it amazing that a Kazach who barely speaks english can sell out large venues on both the East AND West coast!
He's the number 1 KO attraction in the sport and he's got more exposure than any other active fighter not named Canelo. With tickets as low as $30, how could one be surprised?
Floyd won, but what's even more interesting is that these guys are so caught up in trying to pin a loss on Mayweather that they never bring up that this fight with ol boring mayweather was one of the most exciting fights at the time.
Besides, I already proved to him how ODLH fought Mayweather as soon as it was really possible and he conceded. Yet he keeps spewing the same garbage anyway......as if you can avoid a man who was 3 weightclasses behind you and percieved as too small for most of your career.
These Floyd fans take it as a personal insult to not glorify everything Floyd did or does...
Everytime a poll is made, people think Castillo won...and this dates back to before Mayweather-Pacquiao was even concieved as a possible fight.
Close fight, but I honestly beleieve the only reason people want to say Castillo won is because Floyd's a prick. Nobody likes Floyd so if you give someone who doesn't like Floyd or his boxing career, a chance to blemish what he glorifies, they're going to do it. These polls are not realistically indicative of what took place. It's a depiction of individuals who don't like him and want him to not be who he say's he is.
It's really not even up for debate, Pacquiao can not effectively cut the ring off. Atlas see's it, Roach see's it, Floyd see's it, Bernstein see's it, I see it and you see it. You just choose to ignore it because you think it's an insult and knock on one of the greatest fighters to ever live. Every fighter has flaws.
i don't care who comes higher for you between pac and floyd....
the fact that you mentioned roy is enough to prove what i stated as correct; that even with a castillo win floyd is not the greatest of this era...
ohhh ok, now i see what you're on lol. you're a disgruntled Manny fan lol christ kid
Castillo lost the first 5 or 6 rounds in a row for christ sakes. Give em credit for coming back and making it tight, but keep it real. Put your bias to the side.
close fight, yes...but i have castillo winning.....
not because floyd is a prick but because castillo did really beat floyd...
suggest you re-watch the fight entirely.....
Again, very close fighht. You had Castillo winning, I can see someone making that argument. I had Floyd winning the fight and clearly winning the first 5 or 6 rounds straight, yet we're looked at crazy for picking Floyd as the winner.
You really want to go down that road huh? You've created over 25 Golovkin related threads in less than a year, almost all about the exact same thing - his resume. You talk about Golovkin more than Golovkin fans.
yall did this same shit about floyd, annoying aint it lol
What is obvious is your blind bias for Floyd. Marquez and Bradley fought Pacquiao back.pedalling all the way, but they fought. When Manny punched they defended - without the grabbing that is STANDARD for Floyd. In the second fight Bradley grabbed Manny's head during a Manny Flurry - one time. Floyd? Most of the time. When Marquez and Bradley punch they are susceptible to counters. Floyd punches and then holds so no counter. Boring. Not great. Whitaker was sweet with his defense. RJJ awesome with his speed. Toney with his roll and counters. Floyd had speed and precision but had to hold when punched and after punching. Not great at all, not a fair fighter, and boring.
He held Corralles? Gatti? Ndou? Mitchell, Bruseles, Chavez, Hernendaz???????? You guy's love talking about a past prime Floyd
Of course he will get it. But in 10 years it will look silly that he did, because p4p head to head there are atleast 3 fighters I am not sure Floyd could get past in the last 25 years.
#1) Roy Jones Jr.
#2) Pernell Whitaker.
#3) James Toney ( Imagine watching Floyd fight Toney ).
#4) Bernard Hopkins.
Then is we want to get into the smaller weights.
#1) Guillermo Rigondeaux not sure Floyd could get past him.
#2) Finito Lopez.
#3) I am not sure Floyd would have gotten past Chavez Sr... I mean look what Castillo did to him.
People are forgetting 25 years encompases Pernell Whitaker...
The top comments can be debunked but the bolded is just out right blashpemy.
I don't know guys, prime for prime, I think Floyd is the more complete fighter between him and Roy. Huge Roy fan, but I think we're getting caught up in a big man vs little man comparison. The bigger guy is more relatable, he's closer to our size, he's easier to digest, you know the severity of damage he inflicted on guys at the size. Floyd being a smaller guy, it's easy to look him over. Floyd at 130 is the greatest fighter to ever live in my opinion. He had EVERYTHING.
Okay and you and other Floyd fans do the same, so thats like the pot calling the kettle black. It just goes in a never ending circle only difference is you guys cry the most like you want their acceptance or something.
Who cares, I see guys who complain about people hating on Floyd go on an make comments dissing Pacquiao in threads that are positive about Pacquiao like Zarakou thread saying favorite Pac moments, you have several guy who love Floyd claim to be unbiased whine about people hating on Floyd and go in there making fun of Manny and start hating on him.
This thread is about Floyd why bring up GGG and Pac fans, who gives a crap about them.
Can you just appreciate Floyd without taking shots at other people or trying to bring others down.
*looks at your sig
Roy fought at 154. Could the schooled vetran Mayweather have beaten Roy Jones who fought at 154lb?
I doubt it. You have to consider 154 is Floyd's 5th Division, where as it was Roy's first, he was breifly there. By the time Floyd got to Jr. Middle, his best years were behind him, contrary to popular belief. Roy on the other hand was just starting out and fresher, he's naturally the bigger guy.
