Canelo fought Floyd when he was still green, at a weight-drained 152 catchweight but since then he's improved and could now be considered in the prime of his career.
Floyd fought some big names, Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo but they were never in their prime, so the question is, if Khan pulls off the upset against a prime, non-weight drained Canelo at the peak of his career, is it fair to say that's actually a better fighter than any opponent Floyd Mayweather's been in the ring with?
So, a lesser challenge in Corrales (same weight) comparatively speaking equals a better win?
Not twisting your words, but the way I interpret it is that: An upset diminished the value of the win because it was an upset
The value of a win is not just in the odds. For example Mayweather was a huge favorite to beat Andre Berto in his last fight. Now if Victor Ortiz beats him, in a fight where the odds will be much much closer, it still wouldn't count for more on his resume than Mayweather's win.
So a bigger upset, yes, but not a better win.

Canelo doesnt compare to Pacquiao
I dont care how old pacquiao was when he fought mayweather
Pacquiao had been knocked out devastatingly by Marquez before Floyd fought him, he was a lot more hesitant as a fighter after that, he couldn't even knock out Rios when even Tim Bradley did.
When has Khan proved to be this big ppv draw? what did Khan do to deserve the fight?
That has nothing to do with it tbh, there are plenty of people who get undeserving shots.
People don't talk about something If they're not interested seems straight forward to me.
Big ppv fight based on what exactly man?? ya'll hype Khan up as such a huge draw when nothing backs that up at all. Khan had done nothing to separate himself from the pack to get a Mayweather fight...But that is a dead horse, Floyd is retired and Khan has to set his own legacy
Way bigger PPV in UK
Better name than Ortiz Guerrero Berto baldomir Judah maidana and those fights did pretty well financially considering the circumstances
How would it not be a big PPV explain that to me?
Khan had sold the fight, hyped it up to the heavens the interest was blatantly there the constant threads about it the casuals I heard talking about Khan Vs Floyd, please don't deny it he ducked this one to fight basically a shot done version of Berto who nobody really cared about.
Will also say Pacquiao and Arum did the same too.

Its funny how people try to ignore the fact Mayweather already beat him, i mean whitewashed him..but say oh he was green...but wasnt Leonard Green when Duran beat him?

Yes.nCon beating Can't-Nelo will sh it on floyds wins against prime corralles and hof'er Castillo at castillos best weight
No way Floyd can deal with a win over a prime Can't-Nelo
Bwahahhaa
Then why did Floyd not just fight him then?
If someone ain't on your level or a threat to you at all surely you fight the guy who will make a big PPV fight.

Khan will never be on Mayweathers level....no matter how delusional he and some of his fans are.
