Do you understand what Caneloweight means? I'm not going to name call you, that's childish. It means, you play by Canelo's rules or keep it moving...UP. Like McCallum said. Go up. Then you can face Ward. Beat Ward and look - now you get a TBE shot. It's not rocket science. The man's older than Bradley sitting here playing around not getting the big fights because he's too petty to play by Canelo's rules. He's the Amir Khan of the 160's. And what I'm saying is, like Mike McCallum has said, if GGG can't get what he wants at 160, he should have fought the Number 1 in the division up above him - which was Andre Ward - at a weight he walks around at anyway. Instead, G is wasting time and energy trying to force Canelo to change. He won't change. So stop trying. Ward was sitting there READY for the fight. TBE has said, you get a shot at the jackpot if you beat Ward. G says he wants money, go after the money. GO UP IN WEIGHT and stop *****ing about Caneloweight. What's all this gibberish? Ward wasn't even #1 at SMW, he hasn't fought there in years. But back to the point, all the ratings have Canelo above Ggg at MW. That's not right, it needs fixing

Lil G asked who is number 1 in the division. According to most who rank boxing, that was Andre Ward before he moved up to Light Heavy. Ward was number one at 168 not 160. The number one at 160 has to be disputed beteween Canelo and GGG. If Canelo's team come back with that 155 catchweight BS, they need to vacate that green belt and quit the 160 division.

It's never worked that way, the rules don't change for Lil G. I'm just saying, if independent rankings like The Ring, tbrb, ESPN, the scene etc leave Canelo #1 after vacating to avoid GGG, they need to revisit their ranking criteria.

If that was the case than he wouldn't have taken step aside deals with Cotto and now Canelo. You damn right him and his team are desperate for a payday. Canelo is their last shot. He makes good money compared to you and me, but he is on the lower end as far as boxing champions are concerned. Guy made only 2 million for his first PPV fight and that was his highest purse yet. I live in California, after taxes and promotional fees that's really not all that much living the way he does. Plus he would be making a lot more than $4 million for a Canelo fight with PPV upside. We are talking a guy going from a career purse of 2 million to making well over 10 million plus. You damn right GGG is desperate for that pay increase and Canelo is his last shot. Haha seems like you don't understand. He's already rich and is not desperated at all. Canelo wants to play the desperation card against him, but GGG is not desperated and he won't bend for stupid demands from a coward. He took step aside deals for Cotto and Canelo because he knew that the Cotto vs Canelo fight was big and would've been done either way. If he didn't take that money he would've lost the money. Same now. Either way he will be the WBC, lineal and unified champion before end of 2016. And he took the money from his fights, and the step aside deals. He's earning more money than ever while you, a random on internet, pretend that he's desperate lol.

Best thing he could do is go to the Candela-Con fight and get up in the ring post-fight to call Candela out to his face. I think that would just about get it done. The Diva's pride won't allow for that. for once you are right, but i think ggg is afraid of getting canelo upset an ending with no fight now or ever... i think he should take the risk...

With contracts with Apple and Jordan, etc. Do you think he's that desperated? you would be desperated for a 4 millions dollars check, he wouldn't give his ass for it as you would. Of course he wants the fight and the money but if Canela insists on a stupid CW, he will vacate like a coward. In a few years, it will be canelo the one calling GGG out at 160... when GGG is 39 years old and canelo 30. I appreciate GGG's frustration, but the fact is that this is a business and it is not in Canelo's best interests to fight GGG anytime in the near future or ever if it could be avoided. A sure loss now would be a stupid business decision.

I'd like to see him do more of that talk. Try and coax Canelo into fighting him. I doubt it works as i don't think Canelo wants that fight period. At any time or weight. Nice way to spin it there but GGG wouldn't be taking money from anybody but his own pocket. If Canelo vacates who else is there for GGG to fight on PPV for a big payday? Nobody that I can see realistically. GGG is not a draw by himself as evidenced by the Lemieux fight numbers. All he would be doing is costing himself money by paying one more sanctioning fee without a career payday to make up for it. Face it, GGG and K2 take those step aside fees because they have no choice. Khan is making more than GGG has made in his whole career as the B side in their fight. GGG is a millionarie already. Yes. And what I'm saying is, G walks around 165-168 anyway. Go back to what Mike McCallum said: go up in weight and fight the best. G should have faced Ward at his natural weight rather than trying to get Floyd at a drain weight. He's going after Canelo because Canelo's champ, I get it. But Canelo isn't going to budge on Caneloweight because he doesn't have to. Meanwhile, Ward's all-too-happy to come back down to G's natural weight (168) and fight him. The reason that doesn't happen, is that Ward is one of three I can see beating G. And G doesn't want that. GGG is a middleweight Ward is a SMW/LHW That's their best weights, period. So...how to make equal concessions for each figher? 164. But Ward declined.
