Lower weight Floyd was faster, but at WW Manny fights using speed, Floyd fights using tactics. Pacquiaos going to be faster because of that, but the only way to see who's actually faster is if they fight.
I personally think Floyd will be faster even if he doesn't use his speed like Pacquiao, he does things that I can't see Pacquiao doing.

Baldomir had just beaten Zab Judah and Gatti not to mention he was WAY bigger, 13 pounds bigger Floyd won all 12 rounds with an injured right hand, and N'Dou had KO'd his 30 of his last 31 opponents with only 1 loss and was also bigger. He got his ass beat for 7 rounds, and knocking out real African fighters is a task in itself.
I dont know how he would handle the second one, but first ones down reasonably early than it comes down to his endurance which was like nothing ive ever seen at least when he was young. The guy could throw 100 power punches every round and not tire, amazing fighter.
Vs. Diego his left hook was just as good as SRR, literally lightning fast left hook can knock anyone the F out. Toss in that marksmanship of his and that hand speed was disgusting at 130-140

Very nice shot, but that was the perfect scenario for the southpaw left hook hah. Both are southpaw and Matumla lazily put his right jab out while moving towards Aj's left so he ducked and exploded into a face walking towards him, wrong body movement and nice punch
PAC seems to have more power in his right hook and Floyd has better timing with his left hook.
True since Pac is a converted southpaw his right is his natural hand, personally i would prefer timing over power but thats just cause i box rather than brawl a brawler would never take timing over power for the punchers KO.
Good fighters mostly fight with their strengths, great fighters always fight with their strengths - that's why you don't see Floyd going for 10 punch combination and wild KO's he's defensive master.
Haha yah true, I agree but i don't think he tried to change his style completely just add defense in with head movement, in the end he either didn't want to use his defense or thought it was messing his style up so he abandoned it. But yah it wasn't right for him it didn't fit with ricky too much thinking for him, he just wanted to run you over with punches.
Floyd and Mannys lefts are completely different styles- Manny's is a punchers looping overhand haymaker of doom while floyds is a disciplined defensive counter of attrition.
Theres a big different in how their used. I would definitely say Floyd's punch is a much more successful shot both in difficulty aspect and slugging percentage, its to say the brush of an artist; on the other hand it doesn't have the power as a Manny overhand. The overhand is fierce and used in flurry's rather than defensive traps etc. I see it more as the sledge hammer of a demo crew. Both shots are difficult to see - Floyds is quick and is used while going backwards and pacs can be looped from the depths of hell.
BUT both fighters compensate for the weakness of each punch, for example Floyd uses accuracy and precision to weaken the chin then when the time comes he lands the last clean hook for the KO. Sweet to watch or easy to miss depending on how your watching!
Manny's shot is easily anticipated so he launches a barrage of punches opens himself up with something like a right hook making the other fighter try and counter, then he sits and throws a punch you cant even see to the chin KO.
Both are great tools mastered by real pros
Uk definitely has the best support and by FAR!! but PR fans are the most devoted to their fighters -Ive NEVER seen a PR say a bad thing about one of their boxers never, however ive seen plenty of English people criticize Hatton Froch etc. and be reasonable by saying okay they are not the best but their good.

Saying that a prime Mike Tyson has flaws is like saying Pacquiaos hand speed is too slow absurd, his defense and head movement were 2nd to none his power and speed were mind blowing and his endurance was damn well good enough.
