This was pulled from his chat today:
Mike (San Diego)
Dan, leaving the arena last week I stopped when I saw Jim Lampley in the crowd talking to several people. He was saying that the drug testing issue with PBF-Pac is nonsense. If Manny is on anything it's HGH, which the tests won't catch. So Floyd needs to back off b/c the tests won't catch Manny, and Manny needs to give in, b/c if he is on HGH, he can't be caught. Thoughts?
Dan Rafael (2:41 PM)
Jim and I have that same conversation.
All I can say is WOOOOOW!!
I'm really disappointed that Jim has a matter of fact attitude. In reading the post during the chat and dans response it seemsJim could care less what manny is taking only that he is exciting and makes money for the network.
Very few people who cover sports have such a cavalier attitude toward PED use. Maybe Jim just wants the fight so he and his network can get paid. Obviously, from an HBO standpoint the fight not happening costs them the most money.
Maybe this is another eason why floyd is sticking to testing. I'm a floyd fan but don't buy his cleaning up the sport routine one bit.
I'm sure he knows Jim and the other guys attitude. It seems as if all the HBO guys are so focused on the amount of money to be made they don't give a damn if Manny is clean or not.
Does anyone who accuses Pac of being on HGH know what it is? I mean I've studied medicine for a 1 year am not nearly as clued up as some people on here seem to be.
HGH is a natural substance which occurs naturally in the body, so detecting and judging when levels are out of the ordinary are very hard to determine.
I believe there has only ever been one case where a athlete has tested positive for it, and that was a Rugby player in England.
For boxing it not even the best PED, EPO would be much more beneficial, where urine tests have as good as detection rate as blood.
Good post!!!

Red K given.
lol J/k bro. But seriously how can you not like Holyfield?
i was and still am a massive tyson nuthugger and ever since he beat him,i cant make myself like him,i do respect him but no matter what he done i always found things to bitch about, lol true hater
Its a good thing if the super 6 is easier to make.
I'm not gonna say "well probably Sauerland wanted there fighters to start taking PED's for the tournament because they knew their fighters would lose without it." That's some dumbass hater logic. The same type that people use to accuse Pac.
Yeah the problem is that those people outright said no. That's not the case here. Here we have a guy who lied, made excuses, sued, then went back to negotiating, then...ugh, I'm getting tired. Anyway, you get the point.
My advice to Floyd is make the fukking fight happen and insult him, saying stuff like " i'mma fukk you up, with or without roids."
A 24/7 without random blood tests will be even better; that'd make a hell of a promotion and REAL bad blood.
awww, you embarrassed yourself with your stupidity and now you go ballistic? LMAO.
When idiots attack.
look fool its not even about that,i used to be in here talking shit to everyone about manny should take the tests and hes guilty if he doesnt but then i come to terms with the fact that both fighters are to blame for the fight not happening,i couldnt care less how they get in the ring as long as they do,oh yea your still a cunt
Did you know that Sauerland has a clause that obliges all opponents who fight Abraham and Kessler on the ARD network to undergo random drug testing, including blood?
Did you know that for the super 6, Sauerland let that clause go, even though for example Jermain Taylor fought Abraham on ARD, he was not required to undergo random drug testing?
You see the difference with Floyd and Abraham?
All of Abraham's opponents are supposed to do random drug testing, but in order to make the big fights in the super6 happen more easily, Sauerland decided to drop that requirement.
On the flip side, none of FLoyd's opponents had ever been asked to undergo random drug testing, but when the big fight against Pacquaio showed up, all of a sudden he insists on testing and will not drop that requirement even though it caused the fight to fall through.
I don't know if you see the difference, but I think its pretty bad.
Yeah, I don't know if YOU see the difference. You act like Sauerland dropping it is a good thing :lol1:. Get over it, bud. If your man could get his story straight instead of resorting to lie upon lie, we wouldn't be here having this discussion.
that's what I was talking about. 24 day cut-off date or not, makes no difference.
I think it does. While users have a certain permament gain to performance levels, it's the extraordinary gains when they go on cycle during training, that really benefits them the most.
OST doesn't test for HGH? Okay just so its 100% fool proof to load up on HGH and one of the most established anti doping agency wont think to test for it. That makes complete sense
It does.
Some Rugby player tested positive for it several months ago, under WADA which is affiliated with the USADA
We don't. What we know is that the testing procedure he accepted to undergo against Floyd would make no difference in terms of getting caught if he was on HGH.
If I was trying to accuse Pac of taking steroids, I would think like this:
What are the substances Pac would be taking, so that he would want there to be no blood tests within 24 days of the fight, which would allow him to benefit from those PEDs and be sure to get away with it?
Ok fine. So we don't know so speculating on PED is stupid. Good - glad we agree. BTW, they did catch someone on HGH recently.
To answer the second part of your statement, obviously it would be blood based, no? And most blood doping can be effective in a window as short as 8-12 days.

Good point.
How is it a "level playing field" when only Floyd gets to make sure his opponents are clean?
I think that's his point...
