A prime roy doesnt need to match any workrate of any fighter... a prime roy also MOVES around the ring, just as fast as joe would move in, roy could move out.. gatti is SHOT at 35... Vargas SHOT at 33, Morales SHOT at 34-35... EVERYONE is different... at 36, calzaghe is having some of his best performances and wins of his entire career... 2 months shy of 40... roy hasnt beaten an elite fighter in 5 years, and been knocked out twice.... Joe might be coming out of his prime... but roy hasnt been prime in 5 years... and after watching that fight... he is definitely shot as a fighter... u really cant say... oh, there 3 years apart so its no big deal... some guys are DONE at 34... some are still whoopin ass at 43... everyone has different peaks and primes, age has nothign to do with it Calzaghe is fresher at his ages because the quality of his opponent has been much lower than RJJ's. Also the fact Roy got ko'd twice very badly at the end of his career doesnt help.

first of, what cotto has to do is ****in put his gloves together and cover his face because i been sayin this for two years now his weakness is the uppercuts because he doesnt cover for the upper cuts he waits for hooks and if margarito gets them uppercuts in it will be over unless cotto starts to ****ing block his chin literally block his dman chin shit pissed me that he wouldnt cover his damn chin. seriously i think he can win if he can go all twelve rounds by gettin more fit and i mean stamina wise cuz had he pulled it off all the 12 rounds he might have won the fight. Good point. Calzaghe has wanted Roy Jones for many many years, and now he's gotten him for better or worse. Jones v Hopkins would be a strange fight. Jones and Hopkins shouldnt fight, if Roy won Id be saying different but it doesnt have that appeal now.
