You don't win 12-round fights by potshotting off the ropes with an average of 40 or so punches a round. Maidana doubled Mayweather's workrate, dictated most of the fight, made Mayweather bleed and complain ... all this even though Floyd chose Maidana's pillow gloves. I had it 6-6. I was being generous to Floyd's accuracy. But Maidana edged it.

I once respected Haye, but after the Wlad fight I looked at him differently. He totally flopped in what was his career-defining fight. His excuses aside, he didn't have enough to beat Wlad. Golovkin should stop calling out inflated 154lb-ers. He says he can make 168 for a big fight - take on Ward then. If Cotto was the same size as Golovkin I'd take Cotto to win the fight. But he isn't. Golovkin is a guy who can fight at 168. Cotto is an inflated 154lb-er. So the question is: do 3G fans have any faith in him being a good boy and taking on the 168 King?

I've analysed this fight and I think Shumenov wins because he's too strong for Hopkins. I think Shumenov has the power to hurt him. Even though I had Hopkins beating Calzaghe, he seemed to tire in the later rounds. Hopkins was 43 then. And Calzaghe's punches are soft flicks compared to what Shumenov hits with.

Golovkin is a hype job. He doesn't deserve to mentioned in the same sentence as Miguel Cotto. He has the cowardly impulse to call out an inflated 154lb-er when he's blatantly ducking the man at 168 in Ward.

Me & my friends saw it as a draw & that's with us being generous to Floyd. You can't win a fight on the ropes for 12-rounds. I gave the close swing-rounds to Maidana for his ferocity & sheer will to fight like the champion. Mayweather didn't do enough. And how many times did he complain? He was clearly uncomfortable & did his better work in the later parts of the fight. Floyd Sr will let his son know what just happened there. I'm shocked!

Golovkin's main attribute is his power, he's a good fighter but it was Roman Gonzalez who stole the show tonight! That is who you call a great, elite fighter. He was sublime and his talent and skill level compared to Golovkin is leagues above. Hype him up if anyone!

Cotto weighed 153.6lbs for his last fight; he is not a middleweight. He most likely would've vacated after the Canelo fight but what does it matter? He won the lineal middleweight championship, and also defended it. He's already made history by becoming champion in 4-weight classes. I wouldn't want to watch Cotto-Golovkin; size mismatch. This should give Cotto motivation to down Canelo even more.

I do not rate AJ at all. He is stiff as a board with his straight up Euro technique. I see he was off the juice in this fight- it suits him better. Wilder would decimate AJ.
