Oscar is stupid, he could've walked through those shots early on and punished Pacquiao in close but just like the Mayweather fight he didn't.

First i need to say that i was rooting for Pacquiao but i was still sure De la Hoya was going to beat him. I'm not even a Pacquiao fan, but i prefer him to Oscar. Some people on these boards were predicting that Pacquiao was going to be demolished.
I'm not naming anybody but here are some quotes i have seen on these boards for the past month or so in regard to tonight's fight. Not pointing fingers here but if the hat fits, wear it.
Those are only a few, look at threads for the past week and you'll know what i mean.
Now, Oscar took a beating tonight. Look at some of the comments from after the fight:

Diaz did a good job, but I think JMM would win again in a rematch. He's the man at 135 and I don't see anyone else there beatin him. Pac is just now gettin to 140, so no way to know about that yet.

He had a puffed up bruised left eye I think... But there were some headbutts along the way that they showed replays of during the rounds....
Errrr.. Scoring a fight base on the sound of the punches is not right imo... Even when john looked horrible in the last two rounds cant make you win the whole fight... A good measure would be a knockdown which didnt happen or being wobbled, which didnt happened...

He was clearly winning the fight then just completely stopped fighting. I don't get it. Now Marquez is landing tons of punches and has him cut. Why would a volume puncher with a pressure style just stop fighting all of a sudden?

uh this should be a landslide for Pacquiao. I accidentally voted for Barrera. I'd rank them, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera and then Marquez
Morales seems always to lose to barrera so I'll put barrera after pac... A prime barrera would beat a prime marquez no doubt..

It's honestly pretty pick 'em. All of them at their primes at the exact same time....
As much as I hate to say it I think Morales might come in last, I can't see him beating the other three in their primes. The reason being because I think he is the least versatile out of the four. He's a warrior to a fault. I think he'd be one to fall into the trap of going toe to toe too much. Barrera is hot headed but he can stick to a gameplan (as he showed against hamed). Marquez is always the quintessential boxer.
And as ridiculous as this might sound, we don't even know yet if Manny has even reached his peak yet. Think about it. He's still a work in progress. Only within the last few fights has he shown that hes been starting to develop a right hand. Not only that, it's looking pretty damn good. Also, he's the most athletic and gifted out of the four in terms of speed and power.
But yeah, Barrera and JMM are the better technicians out of the four. Manny is the most naturally athletic. Morales is too much warrior for his own good.
Morales is actually unstoppable in his prime(with the exception of barrera)... Jmm lost to an unknown fighter chris john...
For those of you guys picking Pac to lose the majority of the fights against the other 3, ask yourself this:

He's developing his overall skillset more with each and every fight!
Thats what Im trying to say.. Pac is always improving... Pac would murder any of the three if he is in a complete/peaked state.. In the diaz fight, he showed more tactical abilities...
pac fans always claim hes gotten better after fighting a washed up or mediocre fighter. they claimed that he beat morales the second time around because pac had improved while ignoring the obvious fact that morales' career was going in a downward spiral. But he didnt look better in his recent fight with jmm, then he fights punching bag diaz and they claim he's become a master technician
A past prime morales can still beat the crap out of a boxer except barrera.. But pac destroyed him.. Lets pretend morales is in his prime in the second fight.. Dont you think it would be a close fight with pac edgeding in the later rounds..
Pac is in a disadvantage in the first fight because of the bloody cut and cost him the fight..
Cuts usually distract you especially if your the agressor.

He was fightin a bigger guy at a weight he was new to and even tho he made it rough on EM, his speed, power, stamina, and chin weren't as good as usual and he got beat. He got hurt a couple times and almost stopped. That was his 1st fight at 130 after merely jumpin 4 lbs from 126. WTF you think is gonna happen when he taste's DLH's power?
Same goes for hoya.. Hoya will be fighting in weight which he prettty much forgotten whats it like be...
He will be weak/weight-drain and hes a goddamn old man.. We all know that the older you are the harder it is for you to make weight... Thats the reason why most boxer go up in weight once they get older...
