love mickey, thats a funny guy. but lets me honest, Freddie kicked his ass out of the gym for a reason. im sure hes spun some tall tales. all in good fun. He is an actor after all, and a lot of these guys live in their own worlds. but you cannot deny this man is pure entertainment.
mickey was hilarious...that green ball, that emotional dressing room speech, the exaggerated, slow ring walk, knocking that patsy out, putting a little filipino on his shoulders with a cowboy hat.......lol so much win.
Morales barely LOST. Floyd barely WON (7-5) first fight, but clearly won the 2nd in a landslide.
Considering the age of Morales, he should tremendous heart and guile
And this is how @MannyPacquiao looks shirtless. Ripped! says he can still make 135 lbs. pic.twitter.com/TEDgGv7hu0— ConstantinoGarcia (@Constntino) November 18, 2014

I had Provodnikov beating Algieri but i had no problem with im getting a decision. different judges, cant see Chris getting another "gift" back to back, taking the law of averages into account. Pac seems to also have improved little by little after Marquez, he looked OK against Rios, better against Bradley but not great.
Seems like Bob Arum is determined to make Timmy brain dead with all these monsters he pits him against. Well i dont want to see this fight. Cotto is the 160 linear WBC champ, he should defend it with other top 160 lbers. Plus if they do meet it would most likely be at 154 and honestly i dont think Timmy would look too great North of 147. I pass...
Cotto isnt a monster. He's been beaten to a pulp several times.
Bradley can outbox him at any weight.
Bad fight for Bradley. Cotto is a better boxer hits harder has a higher ring iq and better movement than Timmy. Timmy is stronger mentally and is probably better conditioned than Cotto though. He just doesn't have the size or power to break Cotto down and he's not skilled enough to outbox Cotto.
If this fight happened I'd pick Cotto to win by ud with Bradley coming on strong late in the fight.
he's a better boxer suddenly because he beat Delvin Rodriguez and a crippled old man?
Give me a break. Cotto not too long ago was outboxed and outclassed by Austin Trout.
Bradley can do the same with relative ease. (with two good legs)

Fight probably won't be announced until August.
Eh.... they're trying to play out Marquez then I guess...
my guess is they are trying to look at different names to smoke out Marquez
i dont think it will work and they will be forced to pick from Algeiri or Abregu
Algieri's mindset SHOULD be... WIN = more 7 figure paydays. Get that shot at PAC and go from there.
But I guess he doesn't see it like that.
Health comes first.
he genius, if you go over the 147 pound limit then you cannot be defending your 147 pound title
accommodating this request would defy the laws of logic
I honestly think Gamboa brutalizes Donaire.
He's the much better fighter as well as bigger, faster, stronger and harder hitting.
and what does that prove?
nothing.
Forget a catchweight. Either fight at 130 lbs. or not at all. The fight would be interesting. It doesn't make much sense in terms of the rankings but in terms of a money fight I can see it being profitable. What else do both fighters have to do at this point?
no its not. Donaire needs to concentrate to cleaning out 126, not move up
ranting and raving and singling people out isnt advancing the sport towards better testing protocols. Accusing people with no evidence isn't doing anything good either.
What the alphabet soups are currently doing - trying to standardize a stricter testing method across organizations - IS. What VADA and its participants are doing - IS.
And this guy is a broadcaster? Talk about, unprofessional.
I would like to see Arum make this fight but, I have a feeling Arum will let this fight marinate like he did with Lopez vs Gamboa. Right now I favor Loma over Donaire by decision.
why should he when there are other champions for each of them to fight
To correct a disputable decision. I would shudder to think what people would say if Mayweather didn't give Maidana the rematch.
it wasnt a disputable decision. Maidana didnt win enough rounds and was too inactive in the later rounds.
he didnt allocate his energy effectively and was getting hit too much even though he was still the aggressor
