Kid is playing hardball and his manager says it isn't about money but in interview yesterday Algieri said it IS about money and getting paid what he is worth. Even though I dont think he's worth that much or has the bargaining power to demand anything, considering his situation its not a bad play. If he doesnt get the manny fight, the #1 contender for his title is JMM, and #2 is Matthysse. Either one of those fights (or even a Provo rematch) would likely get him $1million or more, so even if he doesnt get the Pac fight he's gonna get paid regardless.......
