With only three fights in 2015, and nothing so far in 2016, he's becoming strangely inactive. Is he sitting on the mandatory position and waiting for Glowacki-Cunningham winner? I thought they tried making the Glowacki fight already but it didn't happen. Is his team really that obsessed about beating Holyfield's CW record of winning a title 12 fights in?

I don't see Ward getting past that jab. It's not only rangy but it's a very hard jab, upstairs and downstairs. It's going to be very tough working around it, because forget working through it. I hope Andre plans on bringing more than he did tonight because he wouldn't last 8 rounds with what he showed against Barrera.

All of that movement and work rate would be too much for Floyd at this stage. Only a corrupt Vegas scorecard could keep Floyd's "0" intact after this one. Floyd needs to fight a few boxers for a change... it's crazy how he's stayed away from virtually all of them.

Where does it come from? He has very little in common with boxers and more in common with unskilled brawlers. Two nights ago there was a decent fight between Shafikov and Nugaev. Showtime simply can't come close to putting out the same entertainment and the higher skill level is also debatable at this point. This is two weekends in a row with absolute dreadful cards on Showtime. In two weeks we've got the failed hypes card, featuring J'Leon Love and Badou Jack. Hahahaha. ESPN has Austin Trout on next week.

Herrera isn't even listed in GBP/Rings top 10 at 140. WTF? That reeks of a coverup. They're trying to pretend that Herrera doesn't even exist. Any other fight for Danny before then is an absolute joke and mockery of the sport.

Is it because of Oscar? Canelo-Lara is the big fight hardcore fans have been waiting for and is the fight of the division but I could almost care less for it. What is Canelo? Handspeed without the stamina to fight for 3 mins of a round. Lara? Good boxer who has the propensity to underperform. This already has me somewhat disinterested. Neither of these two should be good enough to be considered the champ, if the division actually had a real champion. The rest of the division is barely even worth a note. The only one I really see with some upcoming talent is one of those Charlos. The rest? Overrated.

Maidana would have the Mx Everlast, then he gets to choose an Mx pair for Floyd as he wears CUSTOM Grants. That's right, how does Floyd do without that special custom glove? Break his hand and get pulverized by some horse hair on his way down to the canvas? This would be even more legit than what Floyd got to do. All Maidana wanted to use was stock Everlast. I've stopped paying attention to all of this Floyd/Manny bs for a while, but the phony hype to this Maidana fight is just about too much. First it's the abortion hype, now it's blue colored gloves hype - and look who's leading the charge in every thread - the same Floyd is God crew that's been going nonstop over the last several years. It says it all when there's more discussion over prefight fashion drama than the actual fight itself. Nobody can actually believe this berry pick is going to turn out to be anything more than a lopsided sparring session, so the next important thing becomes the top discussion - and I'm not sure which that is, the fashion industry or the hoe industry. Take your pick - it speaks volumes for the parties involved whichever the choice.
