Because Lara wants to fight GGG
Lara has already said that he wants to fight FLoyd. Gotta respect when someone wants to take all comers like Lara appears to be doing of late. Unlike some fighters and his fans ...
he is floyds mandatory at 154 and pacquaio is floyds mandatory at 147...............floyd will duck both.

Why hasn't Floyd fought him?
Floyd can't fight that Cuban... Plus: Lara has a longer reach, he moves excellently and Floyd would not be able to ambush him... Floyd knows...
So how does a fighter with this record get to call shots of a fighter in a different weight class? He's not even the champ in his own weight class.
He called him out~ who says he get's to call the shots. In boxing the guy higher on the food chain gets to call the shots and Golovkin is above Lara, hence why Lara called him out.
Now when it comes time to making the fight Lara would have to jump through Golovkin's hoops or it isn't even worth discussing further because if Lara isn't willing to do that he doesn't really want the fight.
You don't need to be deserving to get a fight~ or to try and advance your career all you need is an opportunity and that is all Lara is trying to get. Beating Golovkin is arguably the best thing he could do in boxing considering Floyd isn't walking through that door for him and Canelo while that would also be solid Golovkin is more highly thought of plus he probably stands a better chance of actually getting Canelo win or lose against Golovkin (win his name is obvious hot and gives Canelo a target to shoot for at 160, if Lara loses well he will probably be dropping back down to 154 and a guy dropping back down after a lose will look vulnerable which is right up Canelo's ally.
Floyd is a part time fighter at 154. He will vacate or be stripped soon.
He needs to because it's not fair that he gets to baby sit the full WBA title and avoid the #1 contender.
He isn't even a real titlist at 154 he is an interim belt holder, let alone champ. Even if you think Lara is the best fighter in the division he hasn't done enough to prove to be the very best, the champ is the man and Lara is not the man at 154 (nor really all that close to being the man).
Molina arguably beat him who is a titlist and Andrade another titlist did a much sounder job with Vanes and Freddy Hernandez. So I don't even know how you could really separate him from those guys~
Good post.. I agree
it seems like he has some more convincing to do . i have been back and forth on him for the longest, so it's understandable... what would u like to see Lara do before we can entertain this fight for real?
I would say be the man at 154 something like that would involve beating Canelo then beating at least one of the other two titlists (preferably hoping someone deals with Molina first, so he doesn't have to get bogged down with a fight that could hurt him even if he wins) and probably another victory over another solid guy
You guys need to stop looking threw the eyes of true boxing fan.....you got to look threw it at a business man and causal fan ...Lara only has a Cuban fan base and hardcore boxing fans (which doesn't bring much money to PPV sales) Floyd alone get flak for being a boring boxer (which I agree) put him with Lara and that over kill to the public and won't really help the sport grow .....Floyd need fights like thurman PAC Timothy Danny
