The reason Mayweather is a jerk is because of publicity. He was not getting as much publicity as a lot of other fighters who are not as good as him. He admittedly decided to play up the bad boy image. He's just doing it to make people want to watch him fight. It doesn't matter if you want him to win really bad or lose really bad you still want to watch him. That's what its all about.
Yeah, i know he has to sell himself anyway he can to get plp to tune-in but still come'on, you dont air out another man's personal problems like that on tv unless he did the same thing, which Gatti hasen't (unless im wrong). I enjoy watching lil Floyd fight because he has a beutifull style, but i just think he should give Gatti the respect he deserves like anybody who steps into the ring!

I thought the movie was good, It dint follow the hollywood formula
of a happy ending but it was still very good. I also enjoyed Clint & Freeman and the drama and acting was gr8, but yeah the boxing scenes werent all that great.
I agree for that with most of you, Merchant is an assclown and very anoying most of the time. Lampley is pretty good, RJJ is enjoyable and Ledderman does ok. They should definately bring back Gorge and kick Larry's dumbass to the curb.

Pac needs the JMM fight more than he has ever needed anything, and the way JMM fought back to a draw after a 10-6 opening round, it would be a much larger, more in demand fight and much easier to hype than "see manny fight the guy he knocked out before".
Roach & Company are hyping Barrera because they are afraid that JMM won't go down 3 times the next time around and their fighter will be convincingly beat on the cards.
Exactly my thoughts also, he needs to fight JMM first before he can start thinking about Morales or Barrera. Personally i dont think he can get past JMM and he might even get KTFO.

I like how Barrera is "still afraid" of Manny because he won't sign to a rematch in Feb. No Shit Sherlock he'd be nuts to do that seeing as how he just went thru another 12 brutal rds. against his rival!! He must be scared, why else wouldn't he want to fight again in two and a half to three month's time against a guy who tkoed him? That's plenty of time to heal up his body and go train for a couple of weeks for a rematch this important!!!!!!!!
