I dont see why everlast has to do even more advertising they already rule like 90% of the industry. Because if business don't keep on marketing their products and reminding their customers, the competition will, resulting in a competitive advantange. The is the business forum, right? ;)

I didn't even notice the use of Everlast throughout the movie. Hope they didn't pay too much! :) Overall I enjoyed watching the movie.

I liked the movie a lot. I think they cut a few corners a bit in the training scenes and a few others, but the acting and plot were so good that they definitely made me get into the movie and i didnt catch the brand of the equipment. Do i think it should have been awarded Best picture like it was? ... no, The aviator was simply better from every standpoint but it was damn good.

Also, guys and girls did you notice the amount of Everlast boxing equipment used in this movie? I wonder how much Everlast payed the producers of 'million $ baby' to place their products in the movie?

i liked it and thought it was a great movie.... i dont think she lost the fight, her mom just said that cause she didnt know any better, not being there at the fight... as far as the fight scenes, how many movie have realistic fight scenes? look at rocky, none of those fights are realistic, but its OK cause its a movie... if i wanna see realistic fights, i'll watch a real fight... Not alot of boxing movies have realistic fight scenes. However, although I have mixed feelings on the movie Ali, the fight scenes were very entertaining because they looked so real. As a boxing purist, I really can't enjoy a boxing movie if the fight scenes look fake.

I thought the movie was good, It dint follow the hollywood formula of a happy ending but it was still very good. I also enjoyed Clint & Freeman and the drama and acting was gr8, but yeah the boxing scenes werent all that great.

It was way too long and I'm not into tragedies

I just saw "Million Dollar Baby" last sunday and was kind of disappointed. My first impression of the movie was that it looked like a 2 hour informercial for Everlast boxing equipment(gloves,mitts,punching bags,and even the freakin corner stool)! My second impression was that the boxing scenes seemed so fake and 'hollywood'and that was very disappointing. I mean all of Maggie Fitzgerald's knockouts were clean one-two punch knockouts and her trainor Frankie didn't even dispence any knowledgeable boxing advice! Another thing that bothered me was Maggie's last fight was declared a loss for her. In reality, she would have been rewarded a win by DQ or a no-contest. My question is why can't hollywood get it right! All they would have to do is look at some highlight film of real boxing KOs and choreograph the fight that way. One exeception is the movie Ali, where the fights looked as exactly as they did in reality. Your comments please. I didnt think it was all that good

i saw it for a week ago. ANd i think the acting and the plot was great. I love freeman and eastwood. But the boxing itself wasnt any good. Pretty good movie.
