Man I have been a huge fan of Hopkins since the 90's, and this is just sad. Whoever hand picked Joe Smith for Hopkins needs to be smacked on the back of the head. A 51 year old shouldn't ever be fighting a fighter with a 80%+ KO ratio and someone who is still in his 20's. This fight should've been against a 40 year old tomato can with limited power who has somewhat a little bit of name recognition.
Dan Rafael. Right before it happened the crew was actually talking about it.
A bunch of idiots, especially after B-Hop had a two year layoff. And I understand Hopkins has a lot of pride, and its hard for him to swallow a KO loss, a KO loss that should've never happened if the team weren't half way idiots, and picked more or less a lay up opponent.
Doesn't matter who Vitali fought when he came back because when he whooped Lennox Lewis he showed that he was the superior fighter in all of the division. What I'm trying to say is that it didn't matter who you would've put in front of Vitali, peter, stiverne, wilder, they would all be knocked out.
It's not a surprise to anyone that Wladimir Klitschko holds. The Povetkin fight was indeed very hard to watch. However, Wlad is also not John Ruiz, and possesses an array of skills. He has a world class jab, one of the best ever, he has power in both hands, which means a right hand or a left hook can shut your lights off at any time. The clinching has been ingrained in him as a defensive and survival maneuver, and probably is the reason that he has been on top for 10 years now. Now should Wladimir been penalized points in some of those fights? Maybe, but even if he had 3 points deducted in each fight of his, he still wins comfortably against all his opponents. Does he deserve to be DQed in any of those fights? Absolutely not, in order to be DQed you have to be warned and points have to be taken.
I think Tyson would top the list, because not only did he have serious mental issues, he also compounded his problems by dealing with crazy gold-digging psychopathic women.
Mike Tyson still accomplished a lot, lets just say a lot more than the overwhelming amount of heavyweights could dream of. Youngest champion of all time, multiple champion, and garnered a reputation for himself as one of the most feared fighters of all time. Guys like Jermain Taylor, Andrew Golota, Ike Ibeabuchi, they will fade in memory and their potential forgotten, because they weren't tough enough mentally.
Ike Ibeabuchi, that guy had the physique and and power to be a world contender for sure. He went toe to toe with Tua and came out on top, but a definite mental case.
That wasn't the start of his prime, he was just more focused for the Rahman rematch becasue he got knocked out the first fight and because Rahman talked so much trash.
Lewis had no business losing the first fight, but he was susceptible during his career to not coming in at his best for perceived lesser fights.
Lewis looked better in the Rahman fight than in any other fight in his career.
I've been saying it for years. Nobody gave Tyson a prayer. Just crown me the king of NSB. Scott-Weiland, Szef, Elroy, where are you?
And who the hell are you? Wlad was long over due to lose, it's a shame it didn't come at greater hands than Tyson Fury. Would've been a whole lot better even if it was Wilder. Reason being is that Fury is not elite, Wlad just got old really fast and it showed. If Wlad manages to win the rematch he needs to retire immediately after.
Someone who's been telling everyone how it is for a long time. Stay salty.
Not salty at all, what would I be salty at? I was never a big fan of Wlad's jab and grab style, especially when he had so much talent and skill. In anycase if you watched the fight I did, everything I said is true.
What that Wladmir suddenly became completely shot overnight & Tyson isn't an elite HW? YDKSAB.
Wlad showed his age in the last 2 fights, he was becoming increasingly lethargic, which is quite understandable for a near 40 year old don't you think?
Klitchko is the one running scared. From what David had said the deal that was offered was perfectly reasonable. Haye keeping the UK cash and Klitchko keeping the Germany cash and everything else 50/50 seems the fairest most logical thing to do to me. I think Klitchko knows there’s a good chance he’ll get KO’d so wants a last huge pay day as if David KO’s him he’d lose his belts and wouldn’t be able to demand crazy money in future fights and would be less of a draw.
How is that pretty reasonable when Klitschko has been the Heavyweight Champion for over 5 years, and David Haye is a nobody? David Haye is no Tyson to be demanding such an offer, matter of fact David Haye isnt even an Andrew Golota to be demanding that.
This guy is a complete joke. What in the world makes him think he deserves 50-50? This guy is a bum paper champ and feels like he has the right to call the shots against the real champ? And then he has the balls to question who the Klitchkos have fought while going on to list Ruiz and Barret as part of his resume? This guy sucks whose next.
Nah, they shouldn't. They should retire when they are getting beat like crazy but not right now. Too strong, too dominant, and too big(tall). :boxing::boxing::boxing:
I like your video, but as for your comment, I disagree, who else is there to defeat? Rather go out on top then to fade away.
You fail to mention that Lewis was 4lbs heavier for the Klitschko fight...At least he kept in mind that Rahman had heavy hands, he said Vitali was basically a big nothing. He was 7lbs lighter for the Tyson fight...He was MUCH sharper against the shorter, slower Rahman...To say otherwise is just nutthugging. Lewis underestimated, and paid...Good job saying something before thinking. I tell it like it is.
What is 4 pounds? Lewis was 37 and only 4-5 pounds over his prime weight, who cares? Do you really think it makes that much of a difference? Lewis was in a ring with an animal who after the 3rd round only had the use of one eye. If there were a rematch and Lewis came in even at 245 he wouldve gotten beat, and therefore he retired.
I see some are saying "Oh wow, Wlad looks so much bigger than Chambers, he's gonna destroy him." Well, boys and girls, boxing doesn't work like that. I will post why the title will be true.
Speed - Eddie will have the fastest hand and reflexes Wlad has ever seen. Chambers fast hands will give Klitschko the most problems and make him tentative to throw. Don't expect Wlad to start fast.
Defense - Eddie will be the best defensive fighter Wlad has ever faced.
Strength - Eddie will be the strongest fighter Wlad has faced since Peter. Most of y'all are gonna be like "What? This guy doesn't know shit". But honestly, when was the last time one of you watched and analyzed each of their fights against Peter? Did you compare Wlad and Eddie's strength? Did you see how Peter would toss Wlad with every shot he landed? Did you see the same with Chambers?
Eddie was also stronger than the former D1 football player (Rossy), Brock, Dimitrenko, and was even pushing back Povetkin in the late rounds after taking tons of body shots. How many fighters would be able to pick up a fighter leaning on them that outweighs them by 40-50 pounds.
Style - Eddie carries a high guard that will help him peel off Wlad when he goes to hold. If Wlad starts pawing with his left hand to stop Eddie from coming in, he will catch a left hook to his glove that will make him not want to do it for a while. Styles make fights, this will not be the type of pawing match Wlad has with every southpaw he faces (Byrd, Ibragimov, Chagaev). I'm not even gonna go into how much Eddie's jab, body work, lateral movement, and pressure will bother Wlad.
Eddie will do things Wlad has seldom seen before in the pro ranks at a high level. Chambers will win, if he "loses" it'll look a lot like Cotto-Clottey. Yes, whether Chambers wins will depend on how much he moves his hands because he's gonna have to clearly win 8-9 rounds to come away with a decision.
A combination of overestimating Wlad and underestimating Chambers is going on here, Eddie will have to either knock it'll be fun watching my prediction come true tomorrow. Bump this after the fight.
