If Wlad starts pawing with his left hand to stop Eddie from coming in, he will catch a left hook to his glove that will make him not want to do it for a while. Styles make fights, this will not be the type of pawing match Wlad has with every southpaw he faces (Byrd, Ibragimov, Chagaev). I'm not even gonna go into how much Eddie's jab, body work, lateral movement, and pressure will bother Wlad. Klitschko didn't hold that much but when he wanted to he had no problem doing so Chambers threw his left hook at Klitschko's left a handful of times but it didn't do anything to deter Klitschko from jabbing or measuring with it.
