juanma look better, but penalosa was a smaller fighter moving up.
pwill moved up from 147 to 160 while winky has always been a 154 lber who has fought at 160+ late in his career.
But remember before the Wright fight, Williams last two fights were at 154 and 160, and Winky was coming from a long layoff were Penalosa was still boxing.
morel didnt look good in his last fight.. right??/ at least thats what i read in the newspaper here
He looked good and dominant. Papers like primerahora exagerate because he didn't KO a fighter who has fought at 122 and 126 pounds. Morel told the papers himself he was being cautious to not get caught and postpone a title oportunity.
But he easily beat Bonilla.
Ricans don't sell buddy. Don't be butthurt.
What? In 2008 ricans occupied 2 of the top 3 spots of most boxing PPV buys.
2.Tito vs Jones Jr. sold 500,000
3.Cotto vs Maragarito sold 450,000
and dont go teeling me it was because of Jones or Margarito because Jones Jr. made barely 250,000 when he fought undefeated Calzaghe and Margarito never made anything close to what he made in his fight with Cotto.
Since I like to nuthug puerto rican prospects, Im gonna have to say this guy easily beats Ricky Hatton. Ricky Hatton will throw a lot of low blows en route to a DQ loss. Sanchez later challenges Paul Williams to a fight, but Williams pays tribute to his african heritage, and starts running the other way.
Alex De Jesus
Kenny Galarza
Hector Sanchez
for a combined 45(30ko)-1(0ko)-1
Fear the puerto rican lightwelterweights people, fear them.
I am not black but that's kinda racist I advise you to edit that and say Salvador would never lose to any man in his prime. Just a suggestion.
At second thought, it's not that racist nevermind.
Dont pay any attention, Sanchez lost to a guy with a 3-1 record, he def could have lost to somebody else.
Skille-WTF??
Skilled my balls, Gomez was hitting him at will. He was just like any other mexican who could take punches to the face and was a great counter attacker. I would have liked to see a rematch between him and Nelson. He was like 23 years old when he died so he would grow up to 130 and beat Arguello in a tough fight, but Duran would KO him.
I got Sanchez in this one. The man never really entered his prime, a damn shame.
Dont go there. For all you know the guy could have been like Vargas or Benitez. Out of his prime before turning 25 years old.

What??? Evangelista isnt a civilian!!! He is just as dangerous as Cotto!!!
This is a bit ironic, dont you think?
LOL. God, he threw it on the floor for crying out loud. WHOoOAA. It's not like he burnt it, or took took a public dump on it then wiped his ass.
Talk about being overly sensitive. It was a good way to build up the fight.
Dude, after sept. 11, the american police would arrest any arab looking person that attempted to board an airplane and called them terrorist. You know if Tito did that, he would be called Osama Tito Laden.
i believe arguments like this are settled in the ring. Margarito knocked cotto out therefore margarito is the better fighter, now shut the fuk up with crap. Talk about fan boy.
Douglas knocked out Tyson therefore Tyson is the better fighter, Ulises Flores knocked out Israel Vazquez in 1 round therefore he is the better fighter, Genaro Garcia knocked out Rafael Marquez in 3 rounds therefore he is the better fighter, etc., etc.
And one thing this fights have in common is that the loosers didnt avenge their losses. Goodbye:footinmou
Who wins would Valuev catch Calderon? Or would calderon win just on tapping him in his stomach? This fight>>>>>>>>>most of the klits fights
Calderon by vicious UD!!!
Americans and filipinos sure are dumb when it comes to English.
He said Mexican's cheating for a win
Mexican's not mexicans or mexicans'
mexican's as in single, as in Margarito.
Get English for dummies
lol actually valuev would probably win because calderon might get a point or 2 taken away in a couple rounds because valluevs dick is probably right where any otheres guys face would be so hit get points taken away. Maybe even multiple in one round
Nahh I think the only way Calderon looses is if he gets robbed in Germany.
Douglas knocked out Tyson therefore Douglas is the better fighter, Ulises Flores knocked out Israel Vazquez in 1 round therefore he is the better fighter, Genaro Garcia knocked out Rafael Marquez in 3 rounds therefore he is the better fighter, etc., etc.
And one thing this fights have in common is that the loosers didnt avenge their losses. Goodbye:footinmou
Yeah, thats better.
Is this the first time a boxers glove slides off his opponents gloves and hits himself with an uppercut? Tyson Fury the legend!
Yes someone has koed himself. Meet El Munra
Watch and be amazed at 5:30-6:30
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oNKdWmqKsM
Yeah, Cintron will crush Angulo, for his abilities are godly!!!! As John Campbell would say: "Hail to the king baby"!!!!
You can't lose when you have the power to convince the referee you didn't get knocked out!!! Fear Cintron for his quest is evil!!! Cintron KO's Angulo in 6! Bwahahaha!!
I understand that most of the eastern block were not allowed to fight Professionally until like the 1990's.
If they had the same freeedom as USA fighters do you think history would be vastly different?
I think the likes of Frazier Foreman Ali etc etc would have had a much harder time to secure legacies.......and the golden era would have been even more Golden!
Opinions.
(keep it clean....this is not about black and white)
If they had that freedom then yes, but they didnt have it because they were communist. If they werent communist, they wouldnt have the fighters they had, so it would make no difference.
The Soviet Union were good at sports because dictatorship somehow improves the sport in a country. Watch Cuba, and Hugo Chavez's Venezuela. Ever since Chavez became president of Venezuela, the sports there has grown by leap and bounds, just last Olympics were the first time Venezuela classified in soccer, volleyball, and baseball was the other I think.
no berto? danny jacobs? angulo? and cotto is only 28......
Yeah but Cotto said he was gonna fight till 30 some 4 years ago.
I got lightflyweight Cesar Seda Jr. and lightmiddleweight Erislandy Lara
1.Kenny Galarza 9(9ko)-0-0=(future nuthugger here:wank:)
2.Carlos Ivan Velazquez 9(8ko)-0-0=he beat Gamboa in the amateurs. Not saying that will make him a automatic future champion, but with a name like that, youve just gotta put him as a prospect.
3.Luis Del Valle 5(3ko)-0-0= Im gonna jump in this bandwagon like iwatchsports. 3 time golden gloves champion, if Im right he is the first rican to do that since Hector Camacho Sr.
4.Carlos Negron 1(1ko)-0-0=even if he has just one pro fight, every rican who is a fan of boxing must have already heard of this guy.
Outside of ricans, I only know two prospects
Erislandy Lara 4(3ko)-0-0=not as talented as Gamboa, but has better defense for sure, and maybe more pure power.
Omar Henry 3(3ko)-0-0=the american version of Miguel Cotto but with more power. Stopped his first 3 opponents by ko in a minute.
Rican fans are sleeping on Luiz Yanez. I think he is an excellent prospect.
I saw Yanez pro debut, and he did not look that impressive, because the guy he was fighting was a bit wild, but trust me keep an eye out for him. I dont know if Warren has turned Pro, but i hope he does soon he looks pretty special.
SORRY I GOT IT WRONG Born in America.
Isnt that the guy that calls himself The latin legend? I thought he was of mexican heritage.
