I don't know about anyone else, but I think Chop Chop Corley got robbed last night, badly. The scores were 77-74 across the board in a fight where Corley probably won 3-4 rounds clearly and knocked down Sanchez once and nearly finished him off.
In the end I guess the judges felt it was easier to swallow to give a loss to a guy that already has 10. But to Chop Chop, to me, and to a lot of people who watched the fight, that decision was hard to swallow.
Anyone else think Chop Chop got robbed? Or was this just a close fight and a tough decision?
had he lost by one round or got a draw it would have been ok , you could argue that. however it just pisses me off when the judges scorecards are so clearly wrong like 77 - 74.
just another case of a young undefeated fighter being given something against the vet whos career is coming to an end .
Chop Chop won a close decision, he got robbed by the judge's scorecards...
Co-sign. I had it tied entering the last round, which Corley won. Corley was doing well when he entered, but he shouldn't have separated so much, that was what he had going on. Sanchez should have jabbed a lot more, it wasn't until the fourth or fifth round that he began using it freely, instead of trying to fight on the inside with that right uppercut. Still, he should have learned something from that fight.
Same here.
It was 1,3,8 for Corley and 2,4,5,6,7 for sahcez 76-75 for Sanchez.
People got impressed by the KD, but in reality, Corley landed 2 or 3 hard punches per round, and then he let Sanchez pot shot his ass.
This wasnt a robbery at all, but the 77-74 scores were ridicuous!!!!!!!
same here man.
seriosuly this was a shit fight. people need to let it go.
Actually it's three rounds. I think the 1st, 3rd, and 8th is what they gave him. He won more rounds than that though IMO plus the knockdown.
No if they gave him three rounds he would of had 75 points.
3X10=30.........won
5X9 =45.........lost
giving you a total of 75 points. Unless they gave him only 8 points one of those rounds he lost which i can't see.
I saw Sanchez win by 1 point, but definetly... El Flaco needs a lot more work before he tries to become World Champion.
I just don't see it. Chop Chop pressed the action all night and landed more plus the knockdown I don't see how.
77-74 means that they only gave Corley 2 rounds the whole fight, one of them being the knock down round.:wtf1:

how am i biased i said the truth i said i gave it 4 rounds a piece and chop chop knocked him down so i had him up by 1 but there were a couple close rounds and that the scores 77 74 was crazy how is that biased?
wtf is wrong with u..U not even the only rican who posted in this thread so chill out
I feel bad for chop-chop,he has been on the recieving end of some questionable calls,more than enough,so has Collazo!!I just don't get how judges,or ref's can sleep at night after robbing a fighter,who has put so much time and effort into a fight blind!!!
Well I gave chop chop the first the third & the last round. I mean honestly i though it coulda been a draw i though there were one or two close rounds but i clearly saw chop chop win 3 of the rounds but i gave him one of the close ones and same with sanchez
I could've dealt with a draw. 77-74 is horrible though.
To be honest i though they both won four rounds a piece there was one or 2 rounds hard to score but i had chop chop ahead by one point. Sanchez shouldnt have even been in that rind vs corley it was a really big step in comp but yea i was surpirsed to see the judges see it 77 74 but i dont think it was robebry either i seen far way worse decisions that that
See that's the thing. I can see giving them four rounds a piece too, but the knockdown would make it a one point vicory like you said, right? There is no way in hell anyone can score 5 rounds for Sanchez, it's just ridiculous. Chop Chop clearly won the first 3 rounds in my eyes and the last round easily. And I gave him another round too, can't remember.ou
Sanchez fought admirably and you're right, he shouldn't have been in with Chop Chop at that stage, but he lost the fight. Plain and simple, and he knows it, I guarentee you.
You're right though, I've seen a lot worse.
