If the money is going to be split 65/35 and Cotto is getting $30mil, that would mean Mayweather would be getting $56mil. Both numbers seem a bit high to me for this fight. But if that's what they are making then that's watsup!
who are this guys anyway? some bums wannabe rapper who dont got pay anyway. by the way...
Jay-Z:
on a tube i'm just watching Pacquiao box em up
how would I know HBO will get shot of us
sittin so close that we almost got snot on us
please don't bow in my presence how am I a legend
that's a motherfawking legend rapper. who among rappers now a days say floyd mayweathers name?
now get back at me after u suck that imaginary dick of mayweathers u flomos. u ain't even close to his pubes motherfawckers.
That was a nice bar by Jay...to answer your question i know that Fat Joe shouted out both fighters in his song with Young Jeezy.
Go to :27 secs "Big money, talkin Mayweather Pacquiao"
I think that all three guys Alexander, Bradley, and Khan would make for great fights with each other. But I see Alexander getting the best of both guys because he has okay defense to go along with his strong/technically sound offense and him being a southpaw would likely present problems for Khan and Bradley.
just upped on ESPN's account, never seen it before.
Oops! didn't know you posted this already i just made a thread of this vid 30mins ago. But I should have known that you had it up cuz you always come with that exclusive stuff lol!
For the ones who have yet to see it..

That second round shows you that Mayweather is on a different level than most fighters.
The thing that amazed me the most in the second round is that Mayweather never moved away from Mosley even though he was on shaky legs.
In that same round he finished the seemingly stronger fighter as he had Mosley backing up and was starting to land his own punches.
Honest question. I watch his little interviews sometimes and that dumb shiteating grin on his face and his bizarre cadence suggest some level of inbreeding.
Anyone know?
I mean if you have to ask lol....but I don't think he is retarded, probably was just home-schooled.
It would piss me off with some random dudes just chillin round my house to be honest
Maybe but you have to realize that they have the 24/7 film crew following them around all day everyday watching their every move. So what impact would two extra people chilling with you have when you have a film crew with you each day??
I have seen a thread saying that Khan is over-rated but I truely believe that he is grossly under-rated here are my reasons why:
1. At the age of just 17 he fought the lengendary three time olympic gold medalist Mario Kindelan who as an amatuer defeated both Felix Trinidad and Miguel Cotto. Khan later beat Mario Kindelan in a rematch which was his last fight as an amatuer. Khan became the youngest Olympic medalist for UK since 1952 when he won the Silver.
2.His main trainer was Oliver Harrison who was a world champion kickboxer and didnt teach him much defence. Now he has Freddie Roach the best trainer in the world. I doubt Freddie Roach would have taken him on if he thought he was talentless. He rejected the offer to work with Ricky Hatton and Kevin Mitchell.
3. He is the youngest world champion in British boxing history, Most boxers dont turn professional until 22, Amir Khan became world champion at 22. I believe he is third youngest in British history.
4. He trains and spars with Manny Pacquio, You cant get better experience and sparring than the best P4P in the world.
5.He has moved up in weight from lightweight where he struggled to make weight and was weight drained and not so great punch resistence. He was top heavy and had limited leg muscle. Now he is a much more rounded fighter, Larger calf and thigh muscles have helped his punch resistence. His conditioning is top notch thanks to Alex Arizza.
6. He has faced much tougher opposition at a younger age than even the greats like Hatton, Beating a Barrera, Gomez, Kotelnik, Salita. Hatton for example was fighting journeymen at the age of 22 and did not have a world title.
7. Its difficult for him to get fights, Marquez is too scared to fight Khan, Maidana thinks its safer to fight Timothy Bradley. Ortiz would rather fight a fading Nate Campbell. Malignaggi agreed to the fight for a pay-day, He gets $250,000 just for turning up win or loose.
8.His popularity in Britian is the cause of much envy, grievance, dislike, Xenophobia and racism. He is Pakistani-British and Britian does not treat its minorities with respect like minorities in the USA ie Barak Obama. Khan even said himself "If I were white I would be a super-star in the UK". To deny that Khan faces racism in the UK is to be either niave or duplicitous.
9.He has defeated all his opponents bar Bredis Prescott in a lopsided fashion, There is no fight of his that you can really say Khan struggled. Fact no British boxer has been able to defeat Khan or come close.
10.The critics say he has a "Glass jaw" because he was suffered a fluke KO by an opponent who at the time had a 90% KO ratio. Since moving up in weight he has not struggled with taking hard shots, He hasnt been on the canvas since moving up in weight. Also he took more than one flush shot by Prescott and got up the first time and tried the second time, Even if the critics continue repeating this mantra of "glass jaw" they can not question his heart.
For these reasons I believe that AK is grossly under-rated. I would like you to share your opinions but please keep it respectful and refrain from bad language.
Best Regards.
I wouldn't say he is under- or over-rated. At this point he is right where he needs to be and I highlighted the 3rd point because I think alot of people fail to take his age into consideration when they evaluate him. I think if he continues to box smart and use more defense then he will eventually be the real deal and tough match-up for anybody. Just my two cents.
Why are you still a constant broken record about Floyd. You're so biased it's retarded.
I simply posted it. Frankly I DON'T think Cotto was "shook" or whatever. Just find the responses interesting. But keep on with your biased pretend objectivity act, it's good for a laugh.
What's even funnier is that you are an older poster so you might remember some of the stuff said back then. And you remember that Cotto's handlers REJECTED a fight with Floyd at the time. LOL.
http://www.doghouseboxing.com/DHB/Chip091609.htm
"After seeing Floyd’s dismantling of Gatti (chants of “easy work” coming from the Mayweather camp before the fight- remember?), the powers that be at Top Rank decided to back off the Mayweather talk and put their cash cow (Cotto) into more winnable fights. The writing was on the wall. The Mayweather fight was a chance they weren’t quite ready to take."
But hey-whatever. Let's pretend that never happened....
Dang!, I'm a fan of Floyd and Cotto but dude set the record straight in that article. Truth hurts!
I don't think Floyd is scared of any of these guys truthfully. Check out this old vid.
Fast forward to 4:55-5:00 hear what he says about cotto and the rest.
He beat Pascal to win the WBC belt and went over to America to defend it against the former undisputed Middleweight champion. He then defended the belt against one of the most promosing fighters in the world, Andre Dirrell. So if he beats Mikkel Kessler who is a former undisputed super middleweight surley he will be in the top 10 P4P !!
You make a good case but I think that we should wait until the Super Six is over so then it will be clear who the best 168lber is, then whoever the winner is can be probably top 5 P4P. For example, what good would it be to rank Froch today P4P #10 and then he loses his next potential match? (which he won't tho).
do you think shane is not OLD and SHOT?
I'm not really sure how Shane can be thought of as shot being that he is currently regarded as the #1 welterweight in the division and he is also #3 on most writers' pound-4-pound lists. No, he is not shot but he is a bit older than Floyd but hey they both are in their 30's. However, at the end of the day age will not win either boxer the fight but rather skills will be the determining factor.
By the way, Antonio Margarito was 31 when Mosley beat him last year. Skills pay the bills (does that quote sound familiar?).
This is the first time I've heard any mention of Rigondeaux's "laziness." It seems that some people are inferring that from the quote in the article: "Nobody was picking him up in the morning to run..." I get more of a sense that Guillermo felt he deserved more attention than he was getting. He knows he's the goods and expects to be treated as such. I'm not saying this is so, but, if anything, "El Chacal" could be viewed as a prima donna. lol
I noticed that line too, but what I took that as meaning maybe he doesn't have a car or license yet and can't get out to where he needs to run at? I don't know I'm just thinking that he doesn't have any means of transportation.
rav, what do you thyink about pav/williams? i think pavlik destroys williams easily
I know you asked this question for Rav, but I have to say that Williams is overrated on this forum to the highest degree. Pavlik would run right through Williams cause the dude has no defense and I know that Pavlik could take anything that Williams would try to dish out. I'm not even the biggest Pavlik fan but I call like I see it.
floyd always looks good in training againts the mitts, speedbag and punching bag......but on fightnight, he runs.....lol
Yep he runs right thru his opponents...40-0 soon to be 41-0
this is the easiest fight ever to pick pavlik doesnt have the workrate that paul williams has and sergio isnt gonna stand in front of kelly like almost all ohave done except for hopkins
Martinez leaves his hands down too much and he's not going to be able to slip all those straight punches from Pavlik. Add to that, Pavlik is naturally bigger and has a mean right hand and he has a decent jab.
40 have tried
40 have failed
36 were not very good....
He's made a career fighting world champions, some undisputed, some former world champs, some on the Lb4Lb list at the time he fought them, some undefeated but now all of the sudden they weren't that good because you say so?, come on man you know what it is...
Cotto by decision. He fights this one smart stays behind the jab and on the outside. Berto is not the type of fighter who prefers to go toe-to-toe, so Cotto won't have to worry so much about his chin being tested. Also Berto seems to have poor conditioning because he holds so so much in his fights, and I think that extra stamina will give Cotto an edge as well. But I think Cotto would win this one in a competitive boxing match.
Damn, how can you not be a fan of this guy? Whether he's right or wrong, that was a great read.
Yea, he used to annoy me at first but I think he's a cool guy now and I'm picking him to beat Kessler by KO. I don't know, but Kessler doesn't really show me anything special.
Kessler will most likely get KO'd by Froch. Why? Because he has no head movement, he doesn't slip punches, doesn't block too much, he is simply there to be hit. We saw Kessler take alot of punches from Calzaghe and from Ward, even that unkown guy Perdomo was able to get quite a few punches in. Although Froch is not as fast Ward I don't think he'll have any problems landing on Kessler. Added to that Froch is probably the hardest hitter next to Abraham in the tourney.
But the Froch vs Abraham fight is a toss-up in my eyes.
Hopefully it was a legit knockout and not an acting job, although I am 95% sure he was acting. AA will fight again and be stronger. Dirrell, if he wasn't faking which he was, might never be the same again and I love it.
Okay I see that this is getting nowhere. But Muck, you are contradicting yourself my man. First you are unsure if he was so called acting "I am 95% sure he was acting," but then you re-assure yourself by saying "if he wasn't faking which he was" and in the next breath you say he "might never be the same again". Well if he was faking then why might he never be the same again? Make it make sense man.
Deep down in your Mucky heart you know it was bogus on Abraham's part, but why is it so hard to give Dirrell his props for soundly beating the tournament favorite?
This being a big smile to my face. I wish AA would have hammer fisted his head when he was on the floor like Dan Henderson did to Bisbing.
If it would have happened legally then fair game to Abraham, but that was a disgraceful illegal blow. But maybe Abraham should join those MMA guys you just mentioned because they all seem to like hitting people when they are down.
Props to Andre Dirrell for a masterful display of switch-hitting/stick and move boxing.
If he can't take a punch he should leave the sport.
CASE CLOSED.
So because he is seated on the floor doing the splits clearly not expecting a right-handed haymaker from Abraham, he can't take a punch?? Make it make sense Muck. It seems to me that Abraham can't take a loss like a professional. Abraham should count his blessings though because what goes around comes around. Think about it Muck, think about it.
The Mosley/Floyd fight is in the state of Nevada, and yet the NSAC doesn't have the results of the USDA PED testing for Floyd and Mosley.
IMHO, that is a black eye to the NSAC. A commission should know what's going on with the testing of boxers who are boxing in their jurisdiction.
Bascially, floyd is running shit, not the NSAC.
That's the NSAC fault. They should upgrade their testing policy, but they can't get mad at someone (USADA) for doing their job better.
If I don't slip to the outside of it then I get tagged pretty often by the Straight Right hand, mainly because I have a bad habit of keeping my left hand low but I'm working on keeping it up more.
