He is the best all around fighter out of the top 10 JWW's, but he needs to prove he is the best JWW, He needs to beat Bradley, and Khan
Bradley is a much better all around fighter than Alexander. He can fight any style, and has proven that lately.
I think that all three guys Alexander, Bradley, and Khan would make for great fights with each other. But I see Alexander getting the best of both guys because he has okay defense to go along with his strong/technically sound offense and him being a southpaw would likely present problems for Khan and Bradley.
Looking at common opponents, and recent performances this is something I truly believe in.
This makes no sense Bradley has beat some tough fighters and when they were dangerous.Who has devon even beat?Urango come on Witter who beat a better version.Other then that who else did Devon beat?Bradley beat Witter Holt and Peterson and to be real he beat Campbell sooo what are you talking bout bradley at this point has the better resume.
Bradley's more proven, is a better body puncher and has superior ring generalship.
Agreed, I think a lot of these posters have seen more of Peterson or something because Bradley is very well rounded man. I was super impressed with his intelligence in the Peterson fight, great adjustment.
The only thing Alexander has better then Bradley is power, other than that I find him inferior. Not as smart, fast, worse foot work, bad defense, and worse resume. Heart is questionable but we all know how great Bradley's heart is he climbed off the mat to take a clear decision over Holt.
Bradley has proven he can fight different styles and adjust. His defense, speed, intelligence and foot work are just superior. When I seen the Witter fight all I seen is Alexander chase a old Witter and land some shots that Witter walked into. If you watch the first few rounds of Bradley-Witter you see a swagger, Bradley took that swagger away it wasn't there after that fight. I just didn't see a confident Witter fighting against Alexander, where as I seen Bradley take Witter's confidence away.
I think that Bradley would box his way to a decision breaking down his confidence like he did to Peterson. Alexander doesn't look to special to me, power, solid footwork, and speed but not to impressed I watched the Urango fight and Witter fight earlier today along with some Bradley fights. I just don't see Alexander having it to beat him, he looks so much slower and he pitter pats alot just the same as Bradley. He has power mind you, but I mean it isn't as if every punch hits with authority. Bradley fights hungry and smart, Alexander stalks his pray, guess what a good boxer with great defense does? Jab and move with his counter right to the body, which is why Peterson stopped throwing the jab.
Alexander was getting hit by Urango with shots not even Hatton got hit with. Pac would put that clown to sleep in one round. Bradley is definitley better and faster. Timmy's hands looked lightning quick versus Campbell and Peterson.

Beating Urango is ok but Urango is not the slickest boxer out there.
urangio is predictable as hell, and yet he was getting a lot of shots in, so we know devon's defense is leaky....he showed a real fighters mentality though never backing down....
bradley has shown a lot of different shit in his game, heart-recoup ability-conditioning(and chin too imo....the shot he took in round 1 was brutal) vs holt, mental toughness vs witter, toughness and versatility vs peterson, speed and a fighters instinct vs campbell ........honestly before his step up fight against witter, alexander had not shown more than say, lamont peterson(bradley has been proving his worth for longer is what im saying, not dissing devon)...
He also might have a better chin, neer down or hurt in has pro ALONG with his amateur carrer man.
he was actually dropped against jesus rodriguez but the fight was in st. louis so it was ruled a slip even though it was a clear as day knockdown.
bradley is clearly the best 140lb fighter.....alexander is good and bigger...so he may beat bradley head to head, but bradley is a more complete fighter....
I agree. Devon is faster and hits harder as well. Has a better jab also.
I don't agree with you or the TS...You already know my position on this Burner.
Bradley's body of work is better. Period.
I really think folks see what Alexander can be, and base alot of this him being the # 1 guy stuff on that....
Not really seeing what Bradley has done to earn that spot.

I didn't see any sharp combos like Bradley throws. And Bradley's combos aren't shoe shine punches, Bradley just simply doesn't have the power Devon does, but they're solid punches.
Bradley is also more versatile IMO. Bradley can fight on the outside(not as good as Devon), but he's also GREAT on the inside where I haven't seen much out of Devon. Part of that reason is cause Devon is so good that he keeps the fight where he wants, but it's still necessary to know whether a guy can fight on the inside for when the going gets tough.
Yes, Devons inside game is stilla work in progress, but his timing, speed, and power keep his opponents at bay.
Bradley is more well rounded. Can outbox the boxer and outhustle in an infight (Campbell, Peterson) this fight has to happen. They are at the top and need to settle it in the ring.
I think Alexander is better than Bradley as well. While I am not a Bradley fan and I've had some hard feelings toward him for appearing to prevent this fight from happening, I kind of understand why he's avoiding Alexander at the moment. He doesn't want to lose before the HBO audience gets a glimpse of him and that is perfectly understandable. It's the same reason Khan fought Paulie.
Hey I was big on Bradley before people thought Witter would put a beating on him. If you look at the Urango fight all Devon did was throw combos. I like Braldeys footwork a little more at the moment, because Devon moves but likes to stay in the pocket and use his reflexes to avoid shots. However, I just can not see how Bradley could have faster hands. Braldey single shots are noticeably slower, and a lot of the combos you talk about are shoe shine type punches.
