Or if they were wearing 8 ounce gloves, instead of the 10 ounce pillows Floyd demands.

?? They were wearing 8-ounce gloves, or at least that is what was reported before the fight.
Watching those shots in slow motion I'm impressed Mayweather was able to stay on his feet. I mean, 2 big right-hand punches that landed on the chin from a very big puncher wearing the 8-ounce gloves? A lot of fighters would be knocked out by either one of those shots.
what i expected to happen, however shane going stupid and not repeating the tactic that brought him sucess i wasnt expcting.
credit to floyd and his skills and doing what he had to do to win.
but to me half of it was down to shane reverting to looking for one big punch and not using a good hard jab to the body and head, and not using combinations and also hesitating instead of just to let go.
i dont think so, after that right, Floyd took away Shane's jab by pulling up a right instantly whenever he tried a jab. That automatically takes out Shane's follow up big right.

Mayweather with the 8 ounce gloves could have potentially stopped Mosley late.
If Mosley had reyes gloves he couldnt changed this fight story in the 2nd

TEXTBOOK at it's finest, that was a beautiful set up.
It really was, and it was something I thought Shane would use throughout. His jab is so deceptive. I haven't seen the fight again but I remember him just missing with the right midway through the first and thinking that Floyd was in deep sh*t. Everyone harps on Shane flicking with his jab but no one takes note of how he uses it to set up his right--arguably the best in the game. Both shots were set up by the jab.
mosleys left has gone to the shitter...watch some classic mosley KO's and he always came back with left hooks to the body after the right hand haymaker.......
Want more enjoyment? Watch the corley fight. He damaged Floyd more than any fighter out there, because he traded with him
So those was was questioning his chin before was either haters who saw it and ignored it... or those who didnt see that fight
Its on yt. One of his best fights btw. Also one of his funniest fights. Watch it and you'll see what I'm talking about lol
When someone covers their head you go for the body unless you can force your way through their guard ( In the situation he couldn't), this is elementary.
ordinarily I'd agree, especially as the body was open, but with the benefit of hindsight he needed to keep Mayweather dis-orientated for the KO, a fresh Floyd was able to take the body shot without any trouble. Besides which, a Mosley power shot to the guard would still be felt.

Floyd vs pac is the real fight that needs to go down.
however floyd v martinez is another great fight.
mosley vs berto shoul happpen,i expect shane to re deem himself and maybe retire on that fight as a 2 belt champion with a big KO win.
(i would say shane is crazy enough to go further and fight williams, but from previous experiences with bigger guys its not likely to happen, but maybe mosley vs martinez might happen ?)
maybe if pac v floyd fails an berto is tied up with mosley, pac could rematch marquez,or even cotto or foreman winner for the light middleweight title.
Boy that's TEXTBOOK. He threw that jab to the body, Floyd reacted quickly to block it and Shane immediately came right back up top, Floyd never had a chance. That was fantastic.

that's why a jab is integral to beating floyd. floyd's rivals need to take note

His chin got exposed? He has never hit the mat in his carrer. Has Pac? I guess his chin is "exposed" moreso by your logic
I like your stupid sig. x12 = Pac LOL. Hilarious
Exactly, exposed how? most WW's would have been down or seriously hurt from those punches, he recovered well.
