I never saw any reason to believe he could beat Floyd regardless of what year it is.....the fight to watch was always Marquez, if Pac struggles against defensive fighters and counter punchers how can you argue he'll beat the best defensive counterpuncher in boxing?
Floyd was always the favorite and had the advantage over Pac: size, skills, natural talent, and most importantly ring IQ. It's not about who you like the most it's about skill-set, talent, experience, etc...all of that was in Floyd's favor.2010 version of Pacquiao beats floyd. after the marquez ko pac became much more cautious he lost his killer instinct. this is coming from a non pac fan btw.
well, he has his name on it MP promotions but noted, arum is the "real" promoter...
wtf is arum waiting for then , are all the guys at 115 exclusive to hbo that's the problem. arum isn't working with hbo anytime soon.
I hate this nationalization of boxing it’s a individual! And most champs train in the U.S!I agree. its an individual sport. only rooting for and paying attention to fighters from your country gets boring real quick.
He did some good fighting but nothing that makes me put him ahead of Loma or Crawford on my pfp best list. He had a close fight with a guy he was supposed to KO. Watch Crawford KO Horn just like he is supposed to do.you're wrong. estrada was favored to win.
best jab at 115 at least imo, ....fast , good power, nice defense...he needs to get in the mix while the division is red hot
what do you think?he's signed with top rank who has a deal with espn. arum is his real promoter now. I doubt we see ancajas on hbo anytime soon.
Some people just don’t get it.
It takes two.
That’s like saying, “If there is big money in the US, why did Ricky Hatton have to fight Luis Collazo in some auditorium in Boston?”
Use a little more brainpower, guys.it takes two? LMAO aj makes 20 mil a fight. wilder makes peanuts. use your brain if you have one that is fact is the fight will happen on aj's terms wilder needs him to get a big payday. aj doesn't need him
I'm not black and even to me the bias against black fighters on this site is ridiculously obvious.
Not to mention the bias against American fighters.
So if a fighter is black AND American? Forget about it. Especially if they're with Haymon.
I get PAID to deal with the trolls and even I am fed up with it and have had to finally start blocking some of them. It's an absolute shame what this site has become, especially the last 5 years in particular. In the early days, you could actually have some decent discussion on here.I'm black and I don't like wilder am I racist too? get the fuk outta here shill.
say cheese! https://www.google.com/search?q=mayweather+mugshot&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=GsjzVysVDF3P1M%253A%252CR_qUXtJgC5ILVM%252C_&usg=__wAP8u6ZC74LsQSnnoEbKN4Kli2k%3D&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiWgKTitMXZAhWFnFkKHcBUDDwQ9QEIKzAA#imgrc=GsjzVysVDF3P1M:
Stop with the sh.i.t
Nery was totally clean and fu.cked up Yamanaka. Stop with the bull****.once a cheat always a cheat. he also came in overweight fuk that cheater. nery tainted his career forever.
All of the world's leading experts have him in the top 5, and frankly, most of them have him in the top 3 or 4.
NSB agreed completely when they thought Wilder was avoiding him. As soon as Wilder agreed to fight him, suddenly Ortiz was 130 years old, over the hill, slow, a bum, etc.that's not saying much the division is shit right now.
I was on a government vacation for 3 years so I haven't been on this site forever. I remember the dumb hate Floyd used to catch about Pacquiao and the Margarito lovers etc. polluting this forum.
But what I can't understand is the hate for Wilder! The most exciting American HW since Bowe basically. A potential ATG. The man won a bronze with no amateur experience. He learned to box as a pro. Despite that he has murdered his competition and has one of the best right hands in HW history.
He helps clean the sport up. He was about to travel to Russia of all places to fight Povetkin when nobody wanted to until Povetkin popped. He tried to fight Ortiz, a guy that would give Joshua serious problems and beat Parker for his belt if you're unobjective. He gave him ANOTHER chance. He pays for his opponents VADA which Joshua has no part of, and called out Fury in his day and Joshua now.
Maybe he gets stopped Saturday. Maybe he crushes Ortiz, crushes Joshua and goes on to be one of the ATG HWs. But the man is all action, one of the best personalities the sport has seen in a decade at least, and is willing to fight the best CLEAN.
I agree with guys like Errol Spence and Wilders peers when they say Deontay might kill someone in the ring, and nobody is beating him for a while. Wilder is a straight up killer he goes out there with unwavering self belief and is ready to take a life. That's an old school fighter like Spence. Whether you like Joshua, Ortiz, or anyone Wilder should get your respect. Boxing should learn from mma and support its stars. God bless enjoy the fight Saturday.you dropped the soap in the joint didn't you
It's because he's an American; A Black American fighter at that and the bar is set much higher for him than your typical fighter. He's compared to the all-time great Black American heavyweight fighters of old like Joe Louis, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston, Ken Norton, Riddick Bowe, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Larry Holmes, George Foreman and the lists goes on and on.
Also, let's cut to the chase. It's so obvious. It's the pink elephant in the room. It's what most everybody who has already commented on this thread has said.
In addition, another reason for the extreme unjustified hatred of Deontay Wilder is because he is black. Yes I said it. Many racist bigots, who call themselves boxing fans are feuled with racial jealousy of the American black athlete in general and the American black boxer in particular; Especially the Heavyweights by the fact that this one ethnic group have almost unilaterally dominated this entire sport for nearly a century and many are very resentful of this fact. Therefore, many of them favor White Eastern Euros over their fellow Black American compatriots. For example Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Is a prime example of this.
Therefore, because of the things I mentioned; Many want to see him Deontay Wilder fail. In addition, it explains the unjustified hatred of him likewise.I am black and don't like wilder does that mean I'm a racist too? I never saw tyson or holyfield get this type of hate wilder gets bashed because he hasn't fought anybody he talks himself up like he's done something when his resume is a joke.
I have lots of mexicans friends and they way they tell is canelo acts arrogant and they don't like that. they also didn't like the whole mexicans don't fuk around and then he turned and ducked ggg.
Donaire is washed up. Struggles to make weight. One trick pony. Had his jaw spun by Rigo.
Now the man that jumped an entire weight division to avoid Rigo after the fight was ordered by the WBA at his career weight is fighting Donaire. Pay to watch that shìt? No thanks. I'll tune in to the Khan tune-up to watch fight of the night in Sean Masher Dodd Vs Tommy Coyle. Batman vs Superman. I know a war when I see one and that fight will steal the night across all the fights on the night.at least doniare never went out like a bitch and quit like rigo LOL.
who knows how old ortiz really is how good is he without the PEDs? he looked like a steaming pile shit his last couple of fights. Nope I'm not impressed
Lmao two fights ago this clown was beating a guy with over 40 losses on his record, two fights ago Floyd Mayweather was beating former world champion Andre berto...levelsone fight ago gayweather jr fought a guy who never fought in a boxing match lol you're a joke.
