Lmfao a 2010 version of floyd would kill many. Younger, faster, and more aggressive than the 2015 version. #48 would be too reckless and would've got nailed with right hands consistently. I never saw any reason to believe he could beat Floyd regardless of what year it is.....the fight to watch was always Marquez, if Pac struggles against defensive fighters and counter punchers how can you argue he'll beat the best defensive counterpuncher in boxing? Floyd was always the favorite and had the advantage over Pac: size, skills, natural talent, and most importantly ring IQ. Pac was not technically sound either at that time. As a matter of fact though he was fast and powerful we often called him a one handed fighter. I do agree that Rung's age is the biggest difference and main factor working against him. That is true, but he's also not given enough credit for the little things he did. His Barrera win was masterful despite being highly based around his left hand, he did put in a lot of right hand tricks. The problem was after beating Barrera, he didn't train as often and thought he could tear through Marquez and Morales using primarily his left hand as powerful as it was. He put in a few very mediocre wins against jobbers following his Barrera win just to pass the time and those were seriously under performed "W"s.

I'm starting to become a big fan of Rungvisai. I don't think HBO will give him the hype treatment. In fact they'll probably root against him each time. HBO (specifically Lampley) definitely have their favorite fighters. It's cringeworthy how they fawn over them. They made it seem like Rungvisai stole the first fight from Chocolatito when it was pretty obvious he won the fight. If it wasn't for HBO questioning it, half the people wouldn't have a problem with the win.

For the record I'm picking Rung over Estrada because to me Estrada is slow, plodding, and predictable....that's a bad style to have against Rungvisai! And I'm not saying Manny was overhyped, I'm saying HBO needs a new star which can cause over hype, for instance as some of you pointed out, Gonzales should of never been p4p #1, that was almost 100% generated by HBO hype!

Yet Barrera was never called P4P #1 Different ages. And González never was the #1. No way. When he was called #1 their best rivals were a drained Estrada (went to 108 pounds), Cuadras that really won the fight and Niida. An old Viloria with 35 years... Really? Barrera won in better fashion to Morales and Hamed. Only a very idiot fan can compare both fighters.
