Ppv
Between FOX & SHO, PBC will automatically assume the #1 spot. The FOX shows will have so many more viewers than the ESPN & DAZN shows that it won't even be close.
ESPN will automatically assume #2. The ESPN shows will have so many more viewers than the DAZN shows that it won't even be close.
There's nothing DAZN can do to be #1 unless they spend so much money for so many years that it drives up purses to the point that FOX, SHO & ESPN pull out of the sport.
The problem is that if DAZN was willing to spend that kind of money for that many years, chances are they'd be able to nab a more important sport than boxing by that point and it'd be a waste to spend all that money to control a sport so much less important than the other options.
Everyone deserves to have an opinion but...
1. I can't agree as a DAZN user. They are the only one's consistently showing international talent and also exclusively show the World Boxing Super Series. They do a good job of providing non-fight content like interviews as well.
2. ESPN/Top Rank has 3 big names in the sport (I'm giving Zurdo the benefit of the doubt) They have no big names for those big names to fight. Lomachenko's fight will determine whether they do PPV or not, since Crawford - Benavidez did well wo/ PPV.
3. PBC did make themselves more relevant with the FOX deal and that may be indication of Showtime exiting boxing too, but the problem with PBC has just been that their fighters are way too inactive. That is the real key between their success.
DAZN is #1. They have too many champions, they have Fraudnelo and it's only $10
PBC is #2 just based on the FOX deal
ESPN is #3. They just don't have enough name fighters to be higher and ESPN as a network has lost a lot of support and following after layoffs and their Disney ownership.

No Wilder fan will ever answer this properly. People arguing about 50 mil this and Eddie Hearn that but what's Wilder done before all of this.
Joshua is younger than Wilder, turned pro later than Wilder and in pretty much half the pro fights Wilder has had, he's unified 3 out of the 4 titles. What the **** was Wilder doing all of that time?
They **** on Wlad saying he was old when Joshua beat him yet praise Ortiz for losing to Wilder. Facts are an old Wlad is a greater and better fighter than Ortiz.
I genuinely want to hear a rational excuse as to why it took Wilder 38 odd fights to step up
1. Eddie Hearn turned down the 50 mil Wilder prooved he had
2. Barry Hearn said publicly he doesn't want AJ to fight Wilder yet
3. Brits get more hype, and more attention earlier in their careers
4. 38YO Luis Ortiz is a much fresher fighter than 42YO Wlad. There's no evidence that AJ vs Ortiz is not a 50-50 fight.
4. AJ has been gifted a handful of early stoppages (Takam)
All of Wilder's KOs are real KOs or TKOs.
5. AJ is considering fighting a Cruiserweight for his 2nd fight of 2019.
Hw
Lol Ortiz is six months older 'son', Povetkin has a much better pro resume and is a gold Olympic medalist, Ortiz struggled at Cuban level, look it up for yourself, straight facts.
Where did I say it was a 30 year old Wlad? It might not have been the best version of Wlad ever but it was a damn good one that came to fight unlike for the Fury fight. I can't see many if any other current HWs being able to beat him especially on that night.
Miller might be scary to you but it's 315 of largely fat with no real one punch knock out power and a bum record that's being lined up to get fed to AJ as we speak, to pad out AJ's record. He's not scaring AJ or any other top HW, they fight for a living and live to fight.
Guarantee he gets called a bum and a nobody that did nothing once he gets beat up.
Who beats Miller up and how? he just KO'd a guy off a deflection.
Barry's advice is exactly that, it has no definitive effect over what Eddie and AJ do.
1 early stoppage to with Takam who was being smashed around like nothing, getting dropped and all, you couldn't guarantee him surving the rest of the fight with a knockout looking more likely. Takam is also still better than 38 of Wilders opponents.
41 year old Wlad was way more game than he was for Fury fight and a better win than Ortiz by far, and would still probably beat most current top HW's right now.
What ATG did Wilder fight to get his belt, I think I missed it?
Ortiz is older than Povetkin so why would he count not count.
Bahaha Miller 'one of the scary HW's', ludicrous, he's only scary if he's in front of you at an all you can eat buffet and you're hungry.
Wilders team wouldn't meat AJ to seal the deal and provide the details to get their deal because they couldn't be bothered to have one meeting.
"The only reason Parker lost to him is because he didn't throw enough punches" Dumbest thing I've ever heard, might as well just say if he didn't lose he'd have won, AJ wasn't exactly throwing 'punches in bunches' either. Plus chances are the more he trades the more likely he would've get clipped by a big shot.
Nah son, Ortiz is younger, and neither guys has great resume. A 315 athletic HW is scary dude, or they'd have fought him already. Please stop insinuating a 42 YO Wlad is the same as a 30 YO Wlad.
AJ has earned his belts, but he's has some convenience work in his favor.
Aj
How is somebody with that credible of resume even allowed to be dissed? How can the public be so easily misled to eat up that narrative? And i'm not even dissing Wilder because I like Wilder too. The guy has fought 4 of the top 10 fighters in 22 fights. Like no one besides Loma and Usyk can say they've done that and those guys had more than 350 amateur fights compared to Joshua's 43. Wlad, Dillian Whyte, Povetkin, Joseph Parker, and he was scheduled to fight Pulev who pulled out of the fight. The only guy this dude has fought that wasn't in the top 20 was a replacement opponent in Takam.
It's not AJ's fault that Barry Hearn has said clearly he doesn't want him t fight Wilder yet. It ain't his fault that Refs have helped pad his KO %. It ain't his fault he beat 42YO Wlad, but also got knocked down by 42YO Wlad. It's not his fault that Eddie Hearn turned down the 50mil (Wilder proved he had the 50mil). Ain't AJ's fault he got his belts through a C Class Charles Martin. It ain't his fault that the only reason Parker lost to him was not throwing enough punches, but regardless of if it's his fault or not, I ain't seen him fight the scary HWs. Jarrell Miller, Wilder, Ortiz. None of 'em. 39YO Povetkin doesn't count either. It's unrealistic to say AJ is ducking Wilder, but it's almost obvious that Matchroom Boxing is.
P4p
Wilder is the complete package. He will be P4P #1 after knocking out the lineal champion, Fury.
It's unrealistic to say that any heavyweight is P4P #1 unless they unify all belts at this point. Even casuals are waiting for Joshua -Wilder, and even then, AJ could be considered #1 but Wilder won't get that kind of respect. They'll just bash AJ and call him a hype job.
USADA use the same standard as UKAD (WADA).
As we found out from the Saunders case, Spence could be on the nasal spray to cut weight outside of competition.
Yeah but USADA is still PED testing. Oxilofrine doesn't help you during fight night. Not sure if they differ out of competition and active, but it doesn't look like it
Ggg
Next time someone on this forum accuses Golovkin of fighting bums I fully expect WBCWBAIBF to leap to his defense quoting boxrec ratings, amiright? This forum is full of people who don't know **** about GGG or Boxing politics. They're mainly man fans.
Spence, Garcia
Remember when JCC Jr. just took off in El Paso Texas after he knocked out Andy Lee without taking a test? Texas is as crooked as a question mark...
Yeah, Texas is crooked as ever but Spence just signed up for VADA. Also, you're talking about another protected Mexican fighter (Clenelo??). Finally, America is the land of the Fee and the Home of the Fake. It's ALL CORRUPT.
Spence
stopping his opponents. isnt that why other fighters got accused?
So your assessment isn't based on your own personal opinion of him possibly juicing? Why even say that
Wilder isn't the kind of fighter where you can tell when his prime is/was until he's done. Dude doesn't have the amateur background of other fighters, so he has less wear and tear at age 32. A.k.a, he's a young 32 as far as boxing is concerned, so his prime might be right now. it might be next year.
Spence
I'll withhold judgment but there should be testing. Spence is one of the guys who has a fair amount of suspicion around him. I would think he would look to clear his name any way possible.
I get that he could use supplements to help the weight cut but please explain your suspicion of his PED use
Usada
Tell that to the people who stripped BJS then.
You gain stamina during training which makes you fitter come fight night..... 'm a BJS fan but agreed with the decision to cancel the fight and strip him.
Funny, caue nobody said nothing when Canelo avoided VADAs post fight test for the GGG rematch, but all of a sudden people are freaking out that Spence and Mikey aren't in Vada testing yet. The fight is 4 months away
Clenelo
Whoever supports this piece of shít, let me know where you stand because I'm putting you on ignore.
I'm sick and tired of this piece of shít. PED cheat, fixes the cards over and over and over and over, add being a racist to top it off.
SICK AND TIRED!
Canelo fans through the GGG fights have proven they either root for him based on race, or are casuals. Canelo fans have shown no objectivity when analyzing his fights. Same could be said for Mayweather fans with his IVs and gift wins, but with Canelo it's obvious he is protected by the WBC, the NSAC and Oscar De La Bozo's pockets.
I'm not biased unless given solid reasons, and i'm with you.
Canelo and his fans can sleep at the bottom of a frozen lake
Wilder
You are pretty good in lining up excuses why wilder didn't have a good resume.
You are as dumb as wilder thinking he will attract over 2mil ppv's.
Did I say he will pass 20 mil PPVs? no. These are all fact based resons. FOH
I see multiple threads about "WHY ARE PEOPLE ATTACKING JOSHUA" AND "IF HE WAS AMERICAN HE WOULD BE A TOP 10 ATG HEAVYWEIGHT"...Come on man, he beat Charles Martin for the IBF, beat a 40 year old Wlad coming off of a loss and a 2 year layoff for the vacant WBA, Then beat Parker for the WBO...Why should everyone be sucking him off exactly?? Seems like some posters want him crowned king before he even proves himself King...The guy is still very unproven and has to keep putting in the work to get his respect..
Yeah AJ has very conditionally become Unified. People don't even recognize the IBO till they want to boost AJ's status. His titles are won out of convenience, even the WBO. It was convenient Parker didn't apply enough pressure or he probably wins that fight.
Nah, he's only fighting Broner as a tune up for Mayweather. If he wanted a top guy he'd have fought Mikey or Amir. Sad that AB has become a gatekeeper.
Aj
AJ is a lot better than you think. Of the guys you mentioned there, the only one I would make favourite to beat him would be in form Fury. Maybe Usyk too, but I want to see how he looks against a genuine HW before making any predictions about that match.[/QUOT
I just call what I see sir. I see a Champion who's pretty good but lacks the X factor that other guys have (Fury's movement, Wilder's right hand, Miller's size) He is the most well rounded, I'll say.
Fury, Hearn
I have seen articles where Eddie Hearn, Joshua Ducka's promotor saying if Wilder loses, then Usyk or Whyte next. So why cant Hearn say Fury Tyson next???? I see a duck swimming under the water.
I mean, Fury told Hearn he can suck his family jewels, so yeah. Hearn wants Joshua v.s. Whyte because there will be pre-fight drama. Usyk ain't gonna be next. Hearn will continue to try to protect Joshua, but it won't last forever. AJ said, he'd fight Wilder even if he loses to Fury, so Hearn is the problem. Either way, AJ will only last until he...
A. Fights Wilder (I can't see Joshua winning that fight without controversy)
B. Fights Big Baby Miller (I can't see anyone beating Miller except maybe Wilder with a the right shot.
I also think Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury at this moment in time can beat Anthony Joshua, Fury easily.
