those of us who STUDY the fundamental aspects of the sport and the SOPHISTICATED SAVAGERY of the sport of BOXING understand over the course since we first laid eyes on Wilder how CRUDE he was but RAW but the talent was hidden under the surface of the crude mechanics of Wilder.
but as a STUDENT of boxing and the TYPES of Jabs, Feints, Head Slot Positioning, Angles, Pivoting, FOOTWORK, the entire MECHANICS of Deontay Wilder have grown exponentially since i FIRST seen him in 2011.
its like when (goku came back from king kais planet in the other world after training with him how his power DRAMATICALLY increased and after being no match for raditz he was able to surpass vegeta in their first encounter) is the same as i see Wilders VAST & DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENTS over the years he has reached a new level i dont think the HEAVYWEIGHT division is ready for what he is yet to become.
people kill me with the criticism of Deontay Wilder about his technique etc among other thangs but yet the late great Emmanuel Steward seen the POTENTIAL in Deontay Wilder and i tend to think he knows MORE than EVERYONE on this message forum about BOXING stated about Wilder. & it has come to fruition. so when you see individuals criticize Wilder show them this interview of EMMANUEL STEWARD giving Wilder praise in 2012 3 YEARS BEFORE HE BECAME CHAMPION and understand that the HATE for Wilder is blinding people to the IMPROVEMENTS of Wilders arsenal and theyre in for a RUDE awakening
Fury ran because he got caught doing steroids, not mental health issues
The test in question wasn't from the Klitschko fight. He won the titles fair and square. The cancellation of the Klitschko rematch wasn't because of that test either. His descent into obesity wasn't because of that test. If he wins the WBC title, it's an amazing comeback.
Wilder has been fighting for 10 years and he has only 1 opponent in the top 25 right now
Because after he knocks these guys out, they're never the same again.
AJ has 4 in the top 15 and 3 of the top ten.
Congrats to AJ. He's #1 for a reason.
Go ahead and keep changing the subject, you are a Wilder whore who will probably be crying after he gets beat.
If you say he's only fought bums and I point out that the computerized rankings show he's had a very strong level of opposition, that's not changing the subject. That's proving you wrong.
As for 12/1, I couldn't care less who wins the fight. I'm not a fight fan. This is just how I make my living. If Fury wins, I'll be very happy for him. It'll be one of the most incredible comeback stories in sports history.
Whats hilarious is you telling everyone that you get paid to post on here hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Gets me every time
You're changing the subject and ignoring my point because you know I caught you in a lie.
AJ has 4 belts
He likely has more than four belts if you go through his closet. Wilder likely has more than four belts as well.
But if you're talking about boxing world championship belts, AJ has three. You trying to count the IBO is hilarious and the ultimate proof you're a brainwashed Hearn zombie.
someone who has fought 38 bums out of 40 fights, best of luck to you too hahahah because Wilder is a fraud and a bum beater.
He's #2 in boxrec. Which means you're lying about whether he's fought bums.
Luis Ortiz may have never captured the highest belt, but it's crazy to call him a bum. Look what he did to Bryant Jennings, a man who had just gone 12 rounds with Klitschko. It's extremely difficult for him to find opponents because he's a high risk for anyone in the division.
That would be you, because Ortiz never had a belt. Dumbass hahahahaa
Last three Wilder opponents:
#1 - Former WBC world heavyweight champion.
#2 - Former interim WBA world heavyweight champion.
#3 - Former IBF, Super WBA & IBF world heavyweight champion.
So when the previous poster claimed Wilder has never faced a former champion, clearly they were incorrect. If you want to continue to stick up for someone who was so clearly wrong, have at it. Best of luck.
Checkmate.
You couldn't muster even a half assed attempt to counter my position, so you ignore completely and change the subject. We both know I've got you.
Yeah you're right. There's no possible way I could counter a guy saying the green belt trumps actual wins and referencing points on boxrec.
You have me soundly beat.
povetkin failed multiple drug tests and failed the drug test when wilder was SUPPOSED to fight him BEFORE aj
Wilder in 2018 is to have fought 2 top 5 heavyweights so his resume will be better than aj i'd say bc he called out aj and aj turned down $50 MILLION dollars in 2018 to secure a fight with povetkin when they said wembley was not available for the wilder fight.
barry hearn has stated multiple times he doesnt care to ever see the wilder fight
oh dear.
There's no limit to this stuff.
Hey dumbass, you didn't answer my question. What belt did Ortiz have?
You literally quoted me telling you what title he held, called me a dumbass, and then asked me again despite the answer to your question being quoted in your post.
So who is the dumbass exactly?
I'm glad you're an advocate of boxrec, especially when Munguia is #3 and Charlo is #4 on boxrec.
They're six points apart. They essentially have identical resumes. Of course I'm an advocate of boxrec. It's the best way to cut through all bull**** and all bias and see who has actually faced and beaten real competition.
You also basically say belts are meaningless as you advocate for boxrec, but here you are talking about how great belts are
Wrong. I pointed out that belts aren't considered by boxrec. That's a fact. So when the other poster acted like Wilder's belt is why he had a high rating, clearly that poster knows nothing about how boxrec works.
Whether I like it or you like it, the sport revolves around the belts. Who fights who, which fights networks buy, etc are determined by the belts or pursuit of belts 99% of the time.
But boxrec is a way to see who has actually proven themselves. Belts can often be an illusion, even if they're incredibly valuable in the marketplace.
Fury is #5 and he just fought two guys who were rated in the 100's hahahah.
And he's also the man who dethroned Wladimir Klitschko.
And what belt did Ortiz have?
Last three Wilder opponents: Stiverne, Ortiz, Fury.
Former WBC world champion, former interim WBA world champion and former IBF/WBO world champion & WBA super champion. So it's kind of silly for that other poster to insist Wilder has never fought a former champion.
he offered anthony joshua $50 million(the biggest GUARANTEE in Heavyweight boxing history) and anthony joshua turned that down saying he wanted to fight in the uk for the fans but initially said "lets roll" on wilders ig page
Only a crack would offered that phantom amount and demand no meeting lol.
i dont put heavyweights in the p4p discussion thats for the lower tier weights.
just like the old timers say
theres Boxing & then there's the HEAVYWEIGHTS.
P4p
Wilder is the complete package. He will be P4P #1 after knocking out the lineal champion, Fury.
It's unrealistic to say that any heavyweight is P4P #1 unless they unify all belts at this point. Even casuals are waiting for Joshua -Wilder, and even then, AJ could be considered #1 but Wilder won't get that kind of respect. They'll just bash AJ and call him a hype job.
Wilder isn't the kind of fighter where you can tell when his prime is/was until he's done. Dude doesn't have the amateur background of other fighters, so he has less wear and tear at age 32. A.k.a, he's a young 32 as far as boxing is concerned, so his prime might be right now. it might be next year.
thats very very very tru
