"MVP (the wrestler who was suppose to box Hardy ended up backing out due to some sort of heart ailment) tried to get Holyfield to beat up Hardy still after Holyfield told the ref to check Hardy who was knocked down twice in the first round. Instead Holyfield floored MVP with a right hand (caught him open gloved anyway) after MVP grabbed him when Holyfield turned away."
I figured he meant that, since it is primarily an entertainment/staged show, MVP would try to pull a stunt like going back to his wrestling roots and throw Holy down as he turns his back. Sorry for trying to understand the fight, what a crime.
Now I get to meet a person that tries to continue a rumor and always fucks up the story.I always wondered where you guys were at.
Anyway,MVP came in cause Holyfield didnt wanna fight him anymore cause he felt bad for whippin his ass.So MVP jumped in and told Holyfield to fight in which he didnt take lightly,so Holyfield took him out with a right hook.
:nonono:
Yeah, trying to clarify what someone is talking about is perpetuating a rumor.
I'm voting for David Banks, as he is a hometown guy. So, you know, either way, I gotta go with him as my boy.
I was thinkin' he wouldn't make the cut though, as he seems a little inexperienced.
Now, once the fight commences, I'll donate if I lost.
Back to the other question. Is there another way to earn more points other than posting more or gettin' them donated?
Yeah dude. The doc. will probably give you the same restraints. It's simply dangerous to spar and take any punches when there is no teeth/bone there to protect your jaw.
I've been eating pudding, and some soups. Also yogurt, and juices, and drugs. Not much. Anything soft, like mashed potatoes are ok. But you can't suck on anything, so no milkshakes through a straw. It might rip the stiches out.
How does one become pro? Do you just sign a contract or something, and announce to the world that you have become one? Or is there some sort of milestone you have to pass?
How much skill does it take to be a referee? It cannot be that much, can it? I mean, I'm sure you have to have plenty of boxing knowledge, and have plenty of experience around the ring, but, it's not like a very difficult job I imagine.
Yeah, it's definitly a dishonorable way of fighting.
As I've seen boxing as sort of the battle between two (hopefully) respectful warriors, doing shit like that in the ring is ridiculous.
When I go in the ring, I hope I can try to at least keep some honor and credibility, as well as show respect for the other fighter.
I'm not out to make a fellow teammate look like an idiot, but I take from your post that you have to make a clear cut team first then huh?
Is it a qualifying match, or a ladder type of tournament?
Did you just debunk the whole black race by saying that they do not possess any fighting instincts, as well as they are naturally poor fighters?
Really?
The Hatton fight was mildly entertaining, I suppose. I really enjoy the pre-fight and post-fight commentary and interviews or random fans and whatnot.
The segment they had on Mike Moorer vs. George Foreman afterwards was something I regrettably hadn't heard about beforehand, and it was quite interesting. What an upset!
