theres a reason that mike tyson created such a HUGE wave of interest. Yes you can win and dominate a fight in many ways..but some are much more interesting than others..Im not saying that PBF or RJJ are not master boxers or supremely skillfull....its more a matter of taste I guess... And as I said Gatti/Ward 1.2 and 3 proves that... Wars are what people want to see...Including me.. Did you think that maybe some boxers want to be able to talk and use their brain when done boxing?

Look at where wars got Gatti and Ward. There careers are done. Roy Jones is 38 and still going. Hopkins is still a champion in his 40's. Its no secret skilled boxers last longer than brawlers.

what fans? What media? I mean when he's not riding oscar's coattails. Oscar lost get over it. And Floyd has many fans. As for media there's 2-3 threads on him here everyday, and boxing sites post things about him even when he hasn't said anything of late.

maybe he was serious about retirment that time but though he didnt put enough to cement his legacy. his goals was to beat Mosely and DHL, become 5-time WBC champion. so that is why he is like indirectly calling out Mosely because he been doing that for long time but the first time he wasnt that of a public attention like he is now

Hatton supposed dissing him, just by being honest after the Castillo fight about PBF boring him, was the thing that swayed PBF into coming back though. That was a diss and I was even mad for him. I knew that he was gonna pull Hatton's card for that cheap shot.

I think PBF wanted to badly retire. He wanted to hear what people said about his achievements, and wanted to be talked about in the same vain as SRR, but he came to realize it wasnt going to happen. But he knew people werent going to give him an easy ride with wanting to retire, with so many potential fights out there. He came back for Hatton because he has read all the stuff about him being scared to fight someone who is supposed to be even more decent than anyone he has ever fought. But i think he would rather not have to fight Hatton, but he knew people wanted it. It's true. I kinda like Floyd but I think if he lost a fight he would be more hungry and fight more which would be good.
