After last night I have to say Maidana. He's a straight animal Thurman wouldn't be able to keep him off him. It almost seemed Thurman had no answers for Collazo After that 5th round. He almost looked scared even
IF IT HAPPENS!!!!!
Who wins
For the WBA 140 belt, Who wins.
You guys know who I got. AB, Always balling, AB, giving out ass beatings, AB, ABOUT BOXING
About being Broke
Is this still boxing?
Is this worth paying for?
Is that how a champ should perform?
I really do wonder..
If Floyd was penalized for excessive hugging will he have won the Maidana fight?

Obviously 5 million ppl thought it was worth it. Money May laughed all the way to the bank.
This is my point with Wilder now in the US, why fight Wlad when he can who ever and fill up venues like the MGM? America is so starved for a HW that they will come out in thousands to see a HW fight. I mean look at the fight last night against B-Ware.
Good point
I saw his last fight with Pulev. I wasn't impressed much by it. I never heard of Pulev up until the fight. I didn't even know the fight was on until the last minute. Like I said it is a shame Klit is not promoted better here in the USA.
Partly because he fights guys like Pulev and Alex Leapi and will try to convince people that they actually have a chance. It doesn't really matter who Vladi fights in Germany he will fill up soccer stadiums no matter what. So why fight the best when you don't have to.
I'll start off by spouting off a few names who I could see having a chance at beating GGG in the future:
Erislandy Lara
Canelo Alvarez
Demetrius Andrade
Keith Thurman
Floyd Mayweather
Tim Bradley
James Kirkland
I think Lara has the best chance
Andre Ward all day
I respect him for taking the rematch, he probably has something to prove to himself because he was pretty distraught after the fight so this could be a way of getting some confidence back.
Yeah hopefully he wins desicivley this time. It'll be tough though Vanda can take a punch.
Plus he knows what to expect from Vanda now. The first fight was good but Chavez should move on cos he has nothing more to prove there.
he's gotta work on his conditioning, run man. Just freaking run. Im talking about 8 miles a day running
I was lookin at the pics on ********* from the pacman dlh fight. and there was some pics of celebrities and other fighters. came across this one of chavez jr. lookin prety chunky. and just gross. From what I can see anyways..

atleast I think its him..
Thats not Chavez Jr
I keep hearing that Chavez Jr. is a bum and will never even be a good fighter over and over in this place. There's a few things that I don't understand about that argument.
First off, he's young, very young. Some even say younger than the 21 years old he claims to be. Some close to him have admitted he can't be that old and is more like 19 yrs old but needed to start making money so the birth certificate was falsified.
Second, he never had an amateur career. He has about 40 fights so far and is undefeated. Granted it's with lesser opposition but this is sort of his "amateur career" he's going through right now.
There's a few things I see in him that are very good. He has very good fundamentals, you can tell he was taught very well by his father and fights a lot like him. He seems to have a good chin like his father and throws a great left hook to the body. He's tall and long for his weight, something his father never had.
There's a few bad things. He looks inexperienced at times and his defense needs major work. Even though he's tall and long he doesn't use them to his advantage and likes to brawl with his opponents and takes that advantage away from himself at times.
I would never say he is going to be as great as his father but I think people are jumping the gun when it comes to him being a "bum". I think with more fights under his belt and his body growing, he could be a GOOD fighter, maybe even contend for a belt.
What do you guys think?
dude hes 23
I agree he hit Manny Pacquaio so bad that he killed him in one shot, and Manny and Bobby Pacquaio's younger and little known brother Fanny Pacquaio was brought in as a replacement but since asians all look the same, no one noticed and now Fanny Pacquaio is impersonating him and everyone thinks he's really Manny, acting like world champ and all that..but the true Manny died long ago from Rustico Torrecampo's ferocious killshot!
What?!?!?!:liar:
I wish i wasnt thinking like that, but some one just made a great point about the taylor/chavez fight chavez done all his damage late on, as did tony, also tony's former trainer has worked with many mexican fighters, so how do we know this has not been goin on for years in mexico sad but it could be true
Chavez had raw power though, he had thump in his punches. I don't want it to be true though because i was a huge Chavez fan, I cant say i've never thought about this myself though.
Normally i'd say yes, but kevin iole says tijuana is too dangerous.
The Question was geared more towards "Do you feel like you were robbed from what once was a great fight" not "do you hate margarito" the second question has been asked since way before any sort of scandal.
and for the other poster, perhaps its my noobness, but I refuse to say margarito cheated against cotto, as i have no proof, I'm still of the innocent until proven guilty kind of guy, I cheated on one spelling test in Jr High, didn't cheat on anything else though, perhaps i'm an a unique situation. It is very possible margs did cheat, but even if he didn't, it doesn't matter, the fight is still ruined, and the topic of this thread is not, whether or not he cheated, there are plenty of those threads out there.
Bob Arum said Tijuana is as safe as Las Vegas.
Juan Manuel Marquez is the one TRUE Mexican great currently fighting, the hell with Margo man. Marquez is the only Mexican who could stand up to Pacquiaos power and hurt him in return. The Baby Bull will succeed him.
