Download the Brave browser app…it’ll block all ads and that annoying boxingscene pop up ad begging you to disable ad blocker…I’m on Brave right now…no ads…I wouldn’t be able to scroll here with all these damn ads…site owner owns an ad company…don’t know if still active but the fact still remains…no coincidence…
Appreciated. This site is like the business of boxing these days: try to get all that you can from the faithful while shrinking your audience, instead of simply providing a good product that more people want and attracting a larger audience.
I can’t see it with my ad blocker…brave does wonders…but I do know how intrusive it is when using regular browsers…that is insane…the site looks real spammy with the ads and that big ass video at the top…last time I saw it…I think they had an Amir Khan or Chris Algerei interview up…
Site make viewer turn off ad blocker to see it. Garbage. I use reddit sometimes now but mostly just never come anymore unless I want to see what people (the last few humans that aren't indian spammers) say about something (this time the Opetaia v Glanton match).
Site is garbage and ive never seen a website go downhill so quickly or completely. In fact right now im typing on my phone and the actual text is completely coverdd by three freakin ads, so i cant tell if there are typoes. Actually crazy.
Two Articles in the front page talking about how Froid is broke and suing showtime and they each have less than 5 pages worth of comments. In a whole day no less.
In 2024 before it got bought by the new idiots it would take maybe an hour for those articles to have like 10 pages of the posters going back and forth and using their alts about how hes not broke and everyone is just hating.
Yeah this site is dunzo
And the pages full of spam articles.
And the popups that fill the screen.
On desktop, the site won't even work without disabling your adblocker.
I barely come by anymore, and this garbage keeps me away even more than the weird socially inept genx commenters.
we saw the changes right away, when the site was taken over. Suddenly no stickies of current cards so people could follow, then banning a bunch of words, etc. etc.
I go to reddit now when i feel like reading boxing articles
I look at Josh like a Roman copy of a Greek statue. He has ebony magic in a Euro package. He knows how to work what he gets, maybe not as good as the original, but there was no miscommunication tonight.
So like a white shakur? Possibly. I was actually thinking that with all that hopping back and forth and then potshots.
Garbage. He has looked much better against higher ranked opponents. Maybe the Pole was too lanky and unorthodox, and you could already tell in round two his stamina was going to fail him, but it was a premature stoppage nonetheless.
At first, for maybe two rounds, Hernandez looked like a guy who was there to lose and hand Nakatani a W for an interim fight before Inoue. But then he heated up or decided that Nakatani's power didn't threaten him enough, and he fought like an animal.
1. I don't know if they continued all through the fight, but the announcers were rooting for Team Nakatani. Hernandez lands three shots, Nakatani lands one..."Wow, what a shot from Nakatani!" I muted it eventually and made my own commentary.
At one point, in maybe round 10 or 11, one guy says something like "I don't want to say that Nakatani looks concerned, but he is being forced to stepped it up..." Quit it, Nakatani was more than conerned, dude was half blind and clinching to stay alive at times. Crazy, just crazy.
The announcers aren't judges, but they give a pretty good idea who is generally preferred, if no money is switching hands, and especially if it is.
2. We all knew the money makers want a Japanese "superfight", so Hernandez got to go.
3. I give huge credit to Hernandez for his fight, but also for his composure to clap when the W was given to Nakatani.
Nothing to see here folks. No "it" factor or star power whatsoever.
Really good at relentlessly tying up when his opponenet moves forward, and not getting any points deducted.
I knew that would be the story by the end of Round 1. Watched till end of round 2 or 3, and started fast forwarding the rest. Half the times I stopped, he was still tying up.
You're usually allowed to punch with the free hand. I'll need to watch it again but I think Yarde may have actually had hold of David's other arm during that moment.
Yarde was holding his arm in place at the time, which was a bad strategy as it allowed David to keep him in place and bash the sense out of him.
Great bag as always, Bread! It's funny to me how these guys see vulnerability in Joshua and they think they can exploit it. Personally I think that Ruiz would light up Jake Paul like a Christmas tree, and though I have a lot of respect for Ward, I think Joshua is a bridge too far for him too, despite his great skills. Just my opinion.
If Joshua isn't paid to go easy, or somehow has some handshake agreement, there would be no way to save the youtuber. He isn't even Ngannou, and AJ wrecked him.
That said, I don't see a real fight happening. There's no way that a guy comes to fight a youtuber, purely for money, and doesn't follow a script.
It's a good list and that's why he's justifiably rated quite highly.
But it's not a list that should put him anywhere near the ATG list.
Guy he was HW champ at like 18 or 19. Who else did that?
interesting that we can now give negative reaction to posts, does a thumbs down give to someone reduce their Likes i wonder
Find out. Give me a thumbs down. My likes received now are 905.
I did that too, a couple weeks ago. That allowed me to watch the most recent event, and I could see nothing was coming after that.
These are strange times for boxing. People say it has always been like that, but I don't agree. These are the days of:
1. circus fights,
2. way too many belts, with awful mandatories
3. No enforcement of rules and no consistency,
4. fighters who fight annually or less,
5. A guy with huge money giving thumbs up or down on matchups
6. General public doesn't even know these fighters
I've taken my kids to model railroads, where guys host these elaborate miniature train setups. It's cool, but they're 100% old guys. That means young people aren't interested, so after this generation, that hobby will be a thing of the past. It's cool but almost gone.
Boxing is like that. A bunch of old fans enjoying what's left before it disappears in the way we knew it, and young fans who don't know how bad it is now, because they never knew it when it was much better. It's a niche entertainment now.
It was nuts. Con couldve toned it down until they at least made sure the other guy was alive and put him on a stool, but it was a horrendous ko. That man paid for standing there with his left hand low.
Why is Bivol stalling on the third fight so much?
More like, why even have a 3rd fight since Bivol won the first two?
Why do we need these trilogies? It's just a money grab by promoters or whomever. It's like how so many movies now are just stupid remakes of cool old movies, because its easier to ride on the coattails of earlier successes instead of creating new stories.
And if I was Bivol, knowing I can't KO Beterbiev, I'm not sure I'd risk it again with the judges; so far he's only had a 50/50 chance with that.
When we finally get fights I want to see, I dont want to see them three times.
But that's me.
Cuban David supposed to immediately rematch Imam
hate that ish when they allow a-side to jeet on an insta-Rematch after getting a suspect decision
Artur’s Cousin Imam is fresh strong buff
Callum is war worn
Wait till Khataev cycles off the roids and passess some clean test/s.
He won't. It's going to have to be a masterful 12-round performance from Crawford for him to win. It's possible to imagine it, but...
Right, and I can more easily imagine myself as the king of a Polynesian island.
Parker will have the WBO meaning the status of THE heavyweight championship will be disputed, and you won't be able to put Usyk above the man he ducked.
I called out Usyk, and he didn't fight me, so now I'm the real champ.
cherry spree or a cherry ripe for the picking, we shall see if bud is the guy to pick the cherry, it would be so embarrassing for canelo to lose to bud, i think it will be a close fight as well, canelo has been fighting stiffs for long time now, hes earned the right say his fans, canelo himself says hes the king lol, reality is hes a ducker and holding belts hostage for years and allowed to do by the likes of the corrupt wbc
I dont know whether to frown this comment because it's sad and true, or smiley it because i agree. This site sux. Cant we just "like" anymore?

Just turning it on now. Probox used to have good matches. Theyre starting to have more mismatches like this short fat guy vs Johnson. Garbage.
How are you not embarassed to fight this litte fat guy when people you know are watching?
